1. Analysis of the requirements and coordinate with the Project Manager to make sure the processes are followed for REQM as defined.
2. After the analysis, coordinate with the PM for the project planning and prepare QA and test plan. Also to make sure that the PP process is implemented as defined.
3. Manage team of 7 QA Engineers for the QA and QC of the projects and train them accordingly
4. Get Test cases and Test scenarios prepared before the development of the modules
5. Coordinate with PM for process areas like PMC and CM
6. Train the QA team for PPQA process area
7. Get the test cases executed and coordinate with the PM to improve the quality of the project
8. Assist the PM coordinating with the client for deployment, delivery and support
9. Define the process areas as guided by CMMI
10. Prepare document templates for the required documents
11. Implement the process area practices in the project assigned to achieve the goals
12. Be part of the PPQA team to carry out audits and generate NCRs if required.
SIMAP ERP(now HoneyComb) is a product developed for the SURGICAL INSTRUMENTS MANUFACTURING ASSOCIATION OF PAKISTAN. The target clients of the ERP are the surgical industries. The ERP has the following modules
a) HR and Payroll
b) Accounts
c) Sales
d) Inventory
e) Production
f) System manager
SIMAP ERP has been developed using J2EE framework and PostgreSQL 8.0. The ERP is currently implemented at multiple clients and is successfully running.
Being part of the SIMAP ERP TEAM as a core member, my responsibilities were:
1. Analysis for new ideas to enhance the product
2. Prepare and execute test cases and test scenarios
3. Generate bug reports during testing
4. Analysis of the clients before implementation
5. Prepare implementation plan according to the analysis
6. Change management of the client according to the ERP
7. Implement the ERP according to the plan
8. Conduct trainings of the end users
9. Monitoring of smooth running and working of the ERP
10. Collect feed backs from the client in order to analyze and generate new ideas to enhance the product
11. Monitor the technical support team and help them at Database level support
Graduated as Software Engineer from Air University Pakistan with CGPA 3.18 with Major subjects as Software Engineering, Software Quality Assurance. Final Year Project was Financial Management System, a web application which included the features Control Accounts, Chart of account, Vouchers, General ledger, Trial balance, Income statements, Charts for dash board, Roles and rights definitions.
