I led the electrical engineering team, providing technical expertise and guidance. I
supervised the development, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems
and solutions. I was responsible for planning, executing, and completing projects,
setting goals, establishing timelines, allocating resources, and ensuring on-time and
within-budget project delivery. I collaborated with engineers and designers to create
innovative and efficient solutions that met employer requirements and complied with
relevant electrical codes, regulations, and standards. In addition, I managed the team,
provided training, and mentored young engineers.

I have extensive experience as an Electrical design specialist working with top clients
like Google, Microsoft, and Iron Mountain in various European countries. I have led
electrical and PMS design teams for various projects, serving as the Electrical Team
leader in charge of developing the template design package. This package outlined a
scalable, repeatable, and reliable electrical distribution scheme that was also cost
effective, supporting Googles critical loads and redundancy requirements for the
forthcoming series of Data Centres worldwide. The package was fully vendor-validated
with detailed specifications. It produced electrical design, schematics, specifications,
and datasheets and an effective and efficient power monitoring and control system that
was fully integrated with Building Management Systems and DCIM. I provided a direct
interface with the client for requirement gathering and project delivery.

As an Electrical Associate, I was responsible for leading design and delivery teams for
medium to large data centres for highly esteemed clients such as NTT and Interxion. My
role involved providing technical solutions, serving as a point of reference for junior
engineers, working closely with clients, engaging with stakeholders and other
consultants, and coordinating the efforts of different trades involved in the projects.

I was responsible for delivering the Electrical and Specialist Systems for a 350MW
Changi T5 Airport project from the concept stage to the schematic design stage. I have
also contributed to developing and maintaining the system integration specification and
Interface Matrix and ensuring a fault-tolerant and current maintainable power
infrastructure with n-1 resilience. The project required 35MW ICT infrastructure
demand, supplied from two independent 66kV/22kV primary substations, a 24MW solar
system, fully compartmentalised distribution, and 100% onsite generator backup. This
project included various facilities such as Arrival/Departure Halls, Data Centres, Hotels,
a Large Retail Mall, a Vortex Water Feature, Automated People Movers systems, vertical
and horizontal transportation units, Art Galleries, car parks, underground railway
stations, 24MW Solar Power, Fire Pumps Houses, services tunnels, 20km+ smart roads,
Bus Interchanges, Variable Salinity Plant, and a commercial & retail park.
I was responsible for overseeing the coordination of MEP designs, collaborating with
stakeholders, developing integrated specifications, conducting regular onsite
inspections, and assisting Commercial Teams. I was also involved in high-profile data
centre projects during this period.

Abu Dhabi Airport can serve up to 11, 000 passengers in an hour. I was the Lead
Electrical Engineer responsible for managing the design for 22kV, 950V, and 400V
distribution, SCADA, PMS, and Fire and Life Safety systems. The project features a
redundant and automated power distribution network that offers 120MW of power,
including onsite power generation and district cooling plants. The airports support
systems are supported by a dual redundant 10MW ICT infrastructure comprising data
centres, network equipment rooms, and communication rooms. I represented Arup in
client, design, tender, commercial, site progress, program/commercial, quality/HSE, and
third-party review/workshop meetings. I ensured the coordinated MEP design meeting
with client requirements and local authority compliances. I Led
design and delivery teams in one of the prestigious buildings comprising two banks
headquarters, data centres, trading floors, an Auditorium, and a fault-tolerant power
distribution scheme. The Lead Electrical
Engineer helped a client acquire a data centre by providing technical appraisal and risk
register. I also led the design team to upgrade the installation into a successful
colocation centre.
