Job Responsibilities
IR Responsibilities
• Maintain positive, healthy & productive professional relations with CBA / Union office bearers, Govt. dept. & other stakeholders (internal / external) of the factory to ensure that opportunities are encased and risks are mitigated with full zeal & zest.
• Management and classification/categorization of company payroll workers and staff concerning labor legislations (Employment Standing orders ordinance) and other legal requirements.
• To ensure proper compliance of all statutory and employment requirements under Standing Orders ordinance 1968, Factories Act 1934 and other labor legislations.
• Dealing with Trade unions/unionized staff to handle their day to day issues and activities.
• Dealing and negotiation with the CBA (Union) on the charter of demand & other day to day issues
• Authorized to represent Management on different legal issues, cases before labor +NIRC etc.
• Maintaining proper liaison with Government agencies like Labour Department, SESSI, EOBI, Education Cess, Workers Welfare Board, WPPF Islamabad etc
• Handling day to day worker's and staff grievances and disciplinary matters.
• Responsible to prepare and issuance of charge sheets, conducting enquiries, issuance of warning /advisory letters, terminations, dismissals etc
• Liaison with company Lawyer and attended the court of law on behalf of the company.
• Handle & resolve workers grievances & keep their record of accomplishment. Impart value added guideline to factory management for peaceful working environment.
