• To analyse daily finished products, incoming raw and packaging materials and ensure that only conforming products and raw materials are released and non-conforming ones are isolated and held for further action by following SSFL procedures.
• To communicate timely the results of acceptance and rejections of Raw materials to concerned functions, issue reports and action the decision through SAP.
• To take immediate action in case of any non compliance noticed during analysis by initiating relevant Hold/ Release exercise.
• To coordinate corrective action with the concerned team leaders if required.
• To coordinate with finished products stores if holding or recalling of the product becomes necessary to be followed by inspection/ analysis of the held product.
• To carry out monthly analysis of stored finished products / Raw materials and prepare the quality status report, share the results with plant team.
• To carry out monthly in market evaluation of finished products and share the results with production and sales team.
• To maintain lab equipment’s in good working and tidy condition while meeting safety requirements.
• To maintain calibration status of all instruments.
• To meet the requirements of IPS lab and quality systems.
• To support developmental activities/ projects relevant to the function.
• To train colleagues and disseminate the knowledge gained through internal and external trainings.
