• Assist logistics process for the development of new products, inventory maintenance, manufacturing, shipment and delivery, and returns on products.
• Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective.
• Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors.
• Read and comprehend legal documents, such as contracts or import/export agreements.

• Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
• Maintains the organization structure and by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
• Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; and recommending changes.
• Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
• Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
• Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource labor requirements.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
• Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
• Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints
• Monitors the established control systems for the recording bars, coils, straightened rod.
• Where appropriate, Supervises the mill scheduling programmers, sizes to be rolled, qualities of steel etc. through production planning.
• Supervises the administration staff in the receipt of and good presentation of production records, collating statistics and reviewing plant stoppages and downtime for the use of production and engineering management.
• Directs his staff in the administration of the personnel requirements of the department. Checks and monitors hours worked and leave entitlements of his staff and provides a similar service for other sections. Supplies information as required. Consults with other section supervisors regarding work patterns and variations to cover needs.

• Liaises with Supply Chain Management links up and meets the sales order schedules in respect of finished products.
• Ensure that all safety, health, environment and quality training process related job description, procedure and work instruction carried out and completely conducted and implemented.
• Ensure that all staff in his organization are aware of all safe working procedure implement.
• Performs weekend covering duty during delays, accident & emergency.
• Sets standard good housekeeping in his area and ensure that all his staff adhere to the requirement.
