Joined Yallabit as an interim CTO. I was managing a team of 9 with different parts in the company from backend, frontend, QA, designer and mobile app developer.
- Was able to improve the overall user experience in the system and improved retention of current users by introducing different features.
- Due to unfortunate circumstances from regulators in Kuwait our operation was halted which resulted in letting go of all the team members that I was managing + more than half our employees in different departments.
- Maintained and rebuilt Ajar Api backend systems as part of the technology team.
- The systems consisted of:
- online payments (knet/visa) - Sms/Email notifications
- Property management
- Subscription management
