Issue shipping instructions and provide routing information to ensure that delivery times and locations are coordinated.
Review supply chain plans, and/or semi-finished / finished product forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and to issue work assignments. Timeliness, accuracy and quality of shipping planning outputs
Level of coordination of supply chain activities involving customers
Follow up & Coordinate
Follow up with supply chain managers to determine emerging transportation related issues and risks
Compile and keep detailed shipping daily, weekly, and monthly reports and delivery records
Timeliness and quality of shipping reports
Level of coordination of input and intermediate product transportation on the plant floor across different functions
Reliability and continuous availability of required inventory
Deliver
Receive finished and semi-finished product and stack it according to size, specification and length etc at Product Delivery shed and Billet yard respectively
Manage transportation of finished and semi-finished product inside the plant to ensure unified logistical interface across all the function
Receive shipping orders from Sales Section, process shipping documents and arrange shipment
Coordinate with Shipping and Transport service providers to quote and ship SSC goods in the most economic and efficient way.
Cooperate and coordinate with Customers, local transport companies, and governmental bodies (such as Customs Department and port authority) to secure smooth transportation of goods. Perfect order fulfillment
