Responsibilities & Achievements
• Working with KPMG to evaluate the group's retail sector and offer the valuation as an investment opportunity (Sold for QR 24 million)
• Preparing the industrial sector in the group for operation through preparation of financial feasibility studies in cooperation with the consulting offices and obtaining the necessary financing for the project through Qatar Development Bank (QR 42 Million).
• Preparation necessary files to obtain the necessary financing from banks and financing institutions (The limits of credit facilities increase from QR 15 M to be QR 60 M)
• Acting as an Acting Retail Operation Manager for a year and a half, in addition to the basic job. Sales planned targets were achieved through continuous follow-up and motivation for all sales staff
• Prepare the restructure of financial management and identify the responsibilities and duties (Financial Operation Manual)
• Cost analysis and preparation of cost centers to achieve effective cost control (Inventory control - Expenses control - Petty cash control - procurements cost analyses).

• Follow-up loans and financing agreements with banks and international funds (World Bank (WB) - European Investment Bank (EIB) - Kuwaiti Fund for Development - ……….) and to negotiate the terms of lending and follow-up to end legislative and constitutional procedures for loan agreements until the declaration of force (up of $ 1.5 Billion).
• Financial Officer for the World Bank project in Egypt to support energy policy reform in Egypt (Project total amount $ 50 Million).
• Financial Member staff in support of the project advisory support energy policies in Egypt, funded by the European Union (€ 20 M)
• Financial Member of the joint committee with UNESCO to lighting in some schools in Egypt solar project ($ 5M)
• Participate in preparing for the electricity sector budget ( up of EGP 80 Billion for new power plants projects ) and ways of participation of the private sector and incentives for investment
• Follow-up cooperation with the countries of the world with regard to the field of electricity and energy.
• Prepare memorandums of understanding (MOU) and protocol cooperation with world countries.
