I was appointed as the lead of the full time members of the financial sustainability work stream team who devised RCJY future strategy and outlook that developed new initiatives that focuses on increasing revenue and optimizing cost, privatization, new investment opportunities and PPP projects models along with the corporatization of RCJY that spans its different sectors (real estate development, housing & residential, infrastructure, healthcare, education, city and municipal services) which are all incorporated into RCJY financial, macro economical and industrial
models that were built with a horizon till 2050.
Achievments
o A full interactive Macro Economical and Industrial Model for RCJY (2020-2050) and its cities that shows different scenarios and outcomes depending on different strategy options, financial sustainability goals, localization, oil prices, taxes and interest rates variables etc. that shows the Macro Economical impacts of RCJY cities new investments in different industrial & economical sectors on GDP, population, employment, exports and supply and demand vectors etc..
o A full interactive Financial Model of RCJY that incorporate Economical & Industrial models and other inputs such as PSP and privatization initiatives, revenue enhancement initiatives, cost improvement initiatives, strategy initiatives, supply and demand forecast and outlook among others.
o Cost optimization initiatives covering all of RCJY capex & opex with an execution plan and report that incorporate local and international benchmarks among others with savings up to 1B SAR yearly.
o Revenue enhancement initiatives with an execution plan and report that will lead to RCJY breaking even in the short midterm (2025-2035) through increasing its revenues by more than %164.
o Baseline report of the current situation in RCJY that span its different services (real estate development, housing & residential, infrastructure, healthcare, education, city and municipal services) that cascade from the strategy and the master plan to the financial framework with a full outlook at the assets, revenues, different services financial outlooks and different operational metrics with local and international benchmarks and comparisons.
o New Investment opportunities, PSP and PPP potential opportunities initiatives and report of RCJY current and future assets and projects with a full financial outlook and a proposed model and structure for each initiative with an investment opportunity charter that covers the investment thesis, preferred PSP model and structure, financial impact analysis, targeted market and potential partners among others.
o Corporatization of RCJY, its Holding company, and a potential operating model and structure that separates between the regulatory and the operator side of things in line with the new strategy.
