o Perform contract negotiation based on financial feasibility studies with the Offtaker & On sale client.
o Evaluate financial risks and prepare financial forecasts, concerning the owners
o Plan short & long term cash flows and assess financial performance.
o Analyze capital investment projects for the owners.
o Advise on and participate in the financial aspects of contracts.
o Assist in preparing operation and investment budgets.

o Client relationship management through close coordination with the Offtakers and the On sale customers.

o Prepare & publish the daily availability data to the Offtakers and the On sale clients, for invoicing purposes.
o Monitor the plant performance and make recommendations to improve the efficiency.
o Monitor the Fuel Gas supply and quality as per the agreement with the gas supplier.
o Prepare & publish the annual operating plan.
o Prepare 5 year forecast of budget, outage schedule, and KPI's for the power & desalination plant.
o Identify & recommend opportunities for power availability, water availability and revenue improvement.
o Perform the, incentive payment / liquidated damages calculations and identify the owner’s risks.
o Calculate & publish the annual technical KPIs for ECRA and SEEC auditors.
o Manage the operation and maintenance schedule of generating units.
o Prepare quantity and quality reports on power & water supply and distribution.
o Analyze the health of Power, Water & Fuel Gas meters that are used for billing.
o Support timely and accurate implementation of Saudi Arabian Grid Code, PWPA and O & M Agreement.
o Maintain databases of all contractual documents for efficient functioning of the department.
Responsibilities:
Customer Technical Support
• Manage the technical interface with the customer base and align action with relevant disciplines within the organization.
• Thoroughly understand the technical needs of our customers and provide service in such a way that they will continue to successfully use products.
• Build relationships at all relevant levels of the customer to provide technical support with existing or new products (internal trails, analyses, sampling, etc.).
• Together with customers, determine and implement corrective actions to maintain and/or re-establish product performance.
• Organize, investigate, and document and resolve customer technical complaints regarding power and desalination in a timely manner
Plant Operations Management
• Ensures that Code of Conduct and all other organizational policies are consistently followed and administered to improve system performance, capacity, reliability and scalability.
• Responsible for preparing and managing the CAPEX & OPEX budget in a cost efficient and responsible way in order to assist investment appraisal in conjunction with the Finance and Procurement functions.
• Participates actively with the business team to create, plan, organize and execute short- and long-range objectives to ensure continued site and business alignment, efficiency, and effectiveness
• Coordinate with Shift Charge Engineer and Chief chemist to improve the efficiency by doing any changes in operational activity with Operations Man approval.
• Administration and monitoring of PIMS system (Alerts, notifications and PI reports).
Plant Performance Management
• Prepare and execute plant performance test (Net Heat Rate Test & Net dependable Capacity Test) and perform KKS coding of different plant systems and modifications of P&IDs
• Benchmark and develop a gaps closure plan to drive the units to “Best Achievable” performance.
• Monitor daily performance of all the plants and to ensure that all the parameters are within the specialised limits. -Generation of daily Performance reports and circulation of these reports to senior management.
• Prepare monthly management report and monthly corporate KPI report along with monthly performance summary of plants.
• Facilitate new product development (NPD) processes by supporting plant trials and communication of plant capabilities and performance with the technology, engineering, and logistics groups.
Compliance Management
• Ensures compliance with all governmental authorities and reporting procedures, relevant health, safety and environmental management procedures and controls across the function activities to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality services and a responsible environmental attitude.
• Complies with all functional policies and procedures and ensures alignment with the organizational corporate governance framework.
• Ensure identification of root cause for the identified non-conformances/ deviations and to implement corrective actions/Preventive actions.
Responsibilities:
• Review and recommend improvements of all SOP procedures and perform troubleshoot on all Operation & Maintenance activities and resolve all issues and assist facilities manager to implement all changes.
• Maintain performance report through SAP Production, SAP BusinessObjects Analysis
• Prepare Monthly Maintenance Report of the Business Unit to ensure their adherence to contractual obligations.
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
• Monitor the financial performance of a given area of activity versus budgets so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
• Prepare Executive Management Team Monthly Report (EMT), Monthly Business Report (MBR), Monthly Departmental Initiatives, Monthly Corporate KPI’s, Mo MaSa KPI’s - Contractual Obligation, Monthly Operating Report (MOR) - Contractual Obligation, Monthly Performance Presentation (MPP) - Contractual Obligation and MaSa Monthly Technical Data Report - SAUR requirements
• Responsible to ensure the compliance to legal requirements, contractual and organizational requirements.
• Ensure Environmental Aspect-Impact and Hazard Risk Assessment are carried out, controlled and update.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor energy related design or construction issues, such as energy engineering, energy management, or sustainable design.
• Advise clients or colleagues on topics such as climate control systems, energy modelling, data logging, sustainable design, or energy auditing.
• Review architectural, mechanical, or electrical plans or specifications to evaluate energy efficiency.
• Collect data for energy conservation analyses, using jobsite observation, field inspections, or sub-metering.
• Monitor and analyse energy consumption. Perform energy modelling, measurement, verification, commissioning, or retro-commissioning.
• Prepare energy-related project reports or related documentation. Train personnel or clients on topics such as energy management.
• Conduct energy audits to evaluate energy use and to identify conservation and cost reduction measures.
• Recommend best fuel for specific sites or circumstances.
• Research renewable or alternative energy systems or technologies, such as solar thermal or photovoltaic energy.
•Surface well testing (SWT), testing data acquisition (TDA), universal pressure platform downhole gauges (UPP), multiphase flowmeters (VX)
•Testing operations with (flow heads, manifolds, sand filters, separators, pressurized vessels, pumps, oil burners, gas flares, down hole gauges, multiphase flow meters, data acquisition(Ethernet, TCP/IP, ModBus RTU) network, 4-Phase separators, Surface wireless acquisition network
•Production rate and flow rates calculations (oil, water, gas)
•Perform pressure tests, thickness tests of piping and equipment
•Perform Radiation survey and inspection
• PFD and P&ID development
• Process equipment/Instrument sizing and associate data sheet preparation
• Preparation of engineering design packages such as: Front-end engineering design (FEED), Design Basis Memorandum (DBM), and Engineering Design Specification (EDS)
• Relief system contingency (Pressure safety valves) analysis and system depressuring analysis
• Performing flare header sizing and selection calculations using FLARENET
• Performing flare stack sizing and radiation heat intensity calculations
• Development of process engineering spreadsheet applications for thermosyphon hydraulics, and vessel, depressuring valve and PSV sizing for project use.
