1. Working as a senior sales engineer for the Chennai region and responsible for all sales & marketing activities in those regions as a key account management concept.

2. Completely tracking the projects in various stages like tendering, Bidding, Ongoing & Execution through leads, Websites and pursue the key contact details of the developments & projects in the assigned region.

3. Contact the responsible persons of the projects and make an appointment with them and give the presentations about the company and the products where we can support & supply our products to the customer projects.

4. Understand the customer requirements and needs on the project and obtain the RFQ’s for the same with detailed descriptions.

5. Transfer the details of the RFQ to the estimation team member and set with them and brief about customer expectations, requirements of the quotation and time frame of offer submission.

6. Deciding the commercial Mark ups considering various factors like overheads, Profit, Man hours, Price/ Material cost and other miscellaneous expenses taken place in the offer and submit to the customer and explain in detail of the offer.

7. Follow up on regular schedule basis and depends on the nature of the subject development (Ongoing, Bidding) and giving maximum attentions to the closure projects.

7. Maintaining the sales rolling forecasts with various data’s of project details, customer Key contacts, submitted offers, Follow up offers, End users, contactors, Consultants, Status of the project and developments.

8. Preparing the detailed reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis on the new and existing activities and opportunities where we can lead and pursue it and update the same to the management and increasing the chances of winning those opportunities to get the right guidance from the higher management.

9. Meeting the customers on daily basis and maintain the very good relationship and follow up on new opportunities and already submitted offers and understand the customers position and competitors movement over the opportunities.

10. Continuous Follow up with internal project management team and regularly analyze the status of the existing work orders and compare the actual schedule and delivery status etc to help the customers to get their delivery on time.

11. Meeting targets on monthly basis and submit the detailed report to the management of the win/ loss status with detailed reasons for each quoted projects, Follow up and ongoing preparation offer status, monitoring the competitor activities and their new solutions and pricing details analysis on the assigned region.

12. Arranging the marketing activities and preparing the company participation in the famous exhibitions like MEEE, WEPOWER, SPE, Saudi energy. Giving presentations in the exhibition booths to the customers and giving awareness of the company and its new products line.

13. Preparing the prequalification documents as per the customer requirements. Collecting the details from various sources like Projects, Quality, Safety, Administration and human resources, Finance, Insurance and Government documents etc. Submit to the customer for the same and follow up on regular basis to get the approval in the vendor list. This is mostly working for the major end users Like Saudi Aramco, SABIC, Maaden, Marafiq, KJO etc.
