• Participates and supervises of budget and 5 years plan preperation
• participate on preparing all Financial reports (cost report, financial performance report, monthly forecast report)
• Review and confirms monthly/ yearly financial statements
• Review and confirms monthly billing statement
• Reviewing and supervising all activities related to financial accounts function ( payable, payroll, cash and bank, general ledger )
m 2014 I have been seconded from ADNOC to Al-Dhafra petroleum operations company (New ADNOC JV) to participate in the establishment of Finance Division functions. The major activities on the establishment stage are listed as follow:
• Developing Accounting Guide
• Developing Financial Delegation of Authority
• Developing Accounting Procedures and Forms
• Developing Chart of Account
• Involve in implementation of ERP System
• Preparing & controlling budget
• Involve in preparing financial statements
Accountings: strong knowledge of accounting principles, which includes but not limited to:
o Budgeting
o Treasury
o Payable
o Fixed assets
o Payroll
o General Ledger
o Financial reporting
o Financial procedures
• Participates and supervises the maintenance of ADNOC Group Companies Fixed Assets Accounts and Register, include all transactions related to projects and fixed assets within ADNOC
• Performs all activities related to maintenance of fixed Assets Account by adding, Disposing or transferring Assets on fixed assets module to ensure balances in accounts are true representation.
• Review and confirms depreciation on monthly basis in order to make sure it affect transfer to General ledger.
• Reviews write-offs and disposal requests from various directorates prior to management approval.
• Prepare monthly reconciliation between fixed assets and General ledger
• Performs all Activity related to capital Expenditure and ensure expenditure within limit of approved budget
• Prepare necessary schedules to the financial statement for financial reporting internal and external auditor Requirements
• Prepares Royalties and Tax statement on monthly basis for ADNOC group companies to be submitted to the Abu Dhabi Government
• Invoice registration
• Verification & approval for invoice
• Account payable reconciliations
• Process special payments
• Monitor bank transfer list
• Reviewing Ministries Budget
• Verifying & Approval Budget Transfer
