1.12. Coordinate with other sections in Finance to review availability of funds against budget requests and revisions to ensure effective budget control.
1.13. Oversee planning, administration and re-allocation of Budgeting Change Management.
1.14. Review financial reporting statements comparing budgeted versus actual expenditures throughout the year highlighting and analyzing variances.
1.15. Ensure that the commitments/accruals of capital/operating expenditure are in accordance with financial regulations.
1.16. Ensure that Authorization for Expenditure (AFE’s)/Authorization for over Expenditure and Unbudgeted Items (AFOUs) forms are issued and approved by the management prior to any commitment related to capital expenditures.
1.17. Supervise the preparation of ad-hoc, internal and external reports.
1.18. Support internal and external auditors by preparing accounting schedules and responding to audit queries.
1.19. Recommend training needs for subordinates and evaluate the outcomes of training courses in coordination with the concerned human resources personnel.
1.20. Conduct performance appraisals for subordinates according to scheduled plans and recommend necessary actions as per the applied practices.
1.21. Identify future manpower needs in line with the required plans.
1.22. Actively follow and promote all PI policies and procedures.
