ensuring that all nuclear related items and nuclear related dual use items which has been imported or exported to the UAE is regulated and controled and for peaceful purposes.
Achievements:
Listed most of the companies in an internal data base by contacting them for the declaration purposes and also gathering all their shipments informations while reciving the no objection note request to release their shipments from the customs, achieved all the training requiremnets for the inspectors qualifications approval processand participating in reviewing the Regulation 9 concerning import, export, transit and transshipment of allnuclear related items and nuclear related dual use items.
also, participated in 4 inspections as observer in 2013.
Licensing
licensing all port services providers to comply and fulfill the local and international requirements.
making the daily inspection to vessels calling to UAE ports in Abu Dhabi and the national vessel for safety purpose and compliance with the national and international regulations, also taking charg of registration and licensing all vessels under super vision of the maritime registrsation and licensing department director.
Acheivments:
Participate in making the new legislations and acts in the maritime sector.
Participate in the maritime licensing and registration project to establish new system which was done January 2011
checking all vessels in the docks for any r hazard and checking for the hot work in the vessels to make sure it was done according to the safety procedures.
taking charge of an engine room watch keeping in a unmanned machinery space engine room on LNG steam ship.
