Own high-level strategy and operations surrounding training and competency development for liquified natural gas producer to ensure
optimal safety and compliance with all environmental sustainability regulations while maximizing efficiency and employee satisfaction.
• Responsible for top-to-bottom HSE training compliance, ensuring everyone from technicians and engineers to VPs and the CEO
are current on requisite training related to health, safety, environmental issues, corporate standards, and industry regulations.
• Co-developed a comprehensive training matrix to track training requirements of 3, 000 to 5, 000 on-site staff, executives, and
contractors, ensuring that each employee in each position had received the requisite training related to their job functions.
• Evaluate changes in corporate standards, performing gap analysis in employee performance and knowledge base and developtraining programs to fill knowledge gaps. Created comprehensive training curriculums and rolled out training company-wide on Health and Safety Competency Standards, Incident Investigation and Reporting, and Performance Management.
• Spearheaded the shift to automating the knowledge management system using an SAP application, collaborating with IT team to customize the software to tie training to employee records and automate record updating and prompting for required staff
training. Served as lead user of the new software, training colleagues on usage and providing troubleshooting leadership.
• Designed and enabled the facilitation of a mini-training program to update staff regularly on changes to corporate standards.
• Leveraged certification in incident investigation to develop an IIAI course used to train the entire team on incident reporting.
• Lead succession planning operations, collaborating with employees to build personal development plans (PDPs) based on their goals. And provide 1-on-1 coaching to high-potential leaders to develop skills and guide growth into management positions.
• Enabled effective mass training to support high volumes of contractors, leading a train-the-trainer program for contractorcompanies to qualify their in-house training teams to deliver training on-mass to their contracts prior to arrival on site.
• Facilitated company-wide Town Hall events to share information and gather feedback surrounding safety campaigns, Covid-19
response, high-level performance audits, employee experience, and other issues. Feedback used to inform strategic planning.
