• Successfully secured a low IPP tariff bid of 9.0 Halalah ($0.024) per kWh on the 30MW NADEC Captive solar project as a scheme for a private sector as opposed to state utility IPP and smaller than many schemes in the Gulf.
• Strategic planning, customer and competitor coordination with leadership, Energy mix strategy development, investment planning, and assistance with opportunity pursuits and post award activities.
• Develop key competitive environmental strategies, long range planning development, competitive analysis, and policies to promote sustainable development.
• Create and refine procedures and tools to optimize ongoing Digital Transformation goals.
• Manage energy and sustainability initiatives. Focuses on four key areas;
• Sustainable Energy strategy, regulation, planning, and operations;
• Energy efficiency, and Renewable energy development;
• Communications and outreach;
• Program development, administration and oversight.
• Perform oversight for a group of project transactions with a mix of agency, bilateral and participated accounts covering information technology, environment, renewable energy, and infrastructure industries.
• Develop and facilitate improvement of IT process management, compliance, risk assessment, and training.
• Strategic leadership and development of the “Saudi Sustainable Energy Management Center” & “Renewable Resource Monitoring & Mapping - Atlas”
• Implementation of regulatory frameworks for licensing, regulations and operating codes
• Overseeing the establishment of processes regarding the technical, legal and commercial connection of nuclear power plants
• Preparation and submission of regulatory agency (i.e. ECRA) applications, reports, or correspondence.
• Propose rules and regulations that would integrate units of atomic and renewable energy in the electric network in accordance with policies adopted and applied to support and update existing rules and regulations.
• Developing transmission reliability studies and proposing future transmission grid upgrades for the short and long range planning horizons with the PJM (RTO) planning group.
• Reliability and economic operation analysis to evaluate the timing of transmission reinforcements of the bulk power system.
• Performing power system contingency studies to determine the transmission system limitations (thermal, voltage, short-circuit, and stability), operating capability and performing short range planning analysis and analyze potential operating limitations.
• Sensitivity of medical equipment and elevator controllers to voltage reduction.
• Combined effect of CVR and penetration of DG in highly meshed network
• Thermal Analysis and Ampacity Calculation of Power Cables
• Design of protection and control systems for HV and MV substations automation.
• Quality control for protection panels testing and installation.
