Joined the Information Technology Department at Ministry of Economy & Commerce- Qatar, in July 2013, as a Projects Coordinator and assigned officially as Head of Technical Support Section with the Project Management Role in some Project at the IT Dept.
Overall management of the Technical Services (Objective is to provide Technical Services with Quality).
Planning: yearly (including long term planning of maintenance), monthly and daily activities;
Organize
Measuring the outputs of the ITA Projects’ Agreements.
Monitoring and regulating the implementation of, and performance in terms of, the project.
Resolving disputes and differences of the agreement.
Overseeing the day-to-day management of the project/agreement.
Assuring the quality of service delivery &continues development of the project.
Generate reports and/or minutes from meetings.
Effectively communicate departmental organization and industry information to ITA Projects members.
Set & update the customer care department policies and procedures.
Set & update the infrastructure & network policies and procedures.
Set & update the store & distributions policies and procedures.
Set & update the administrative tasks policies and procedures.
Set & update the projects’ policies and procedures.
Prepare & update the works & activities report & statistic.
Prepare & update the performance report & statistic.
Prepare & update the client’s related problems report & statistic.
Prepare & update the administration related problems report & statistic.
Prepare & update the store & stocks report & statistic.
Prepare & update the projects progress report & statistic.
Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management.
Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
Negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company.
Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments.
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Track project milestones and deliverables.
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
Determine the frequency and content of status reports, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
Creating a list of the potential customers to target according the type of the solutions and the customer’s industry.
Preparing the Sales Plan for certain products (software/hardware).
Getting trained (technically) on certain products (software/hardware).
Presenting the features of certain products (software/hardware) to the customers, covering the technical info as well.
Representing the Technical Consultancy part for any of my colleague’s clients.
Installing and Configuring for certain products (software/hardware) for any of my colleague’s clients.
Presenting the remote of physical Technical Support (remote of physically) for any of my colleague’s clients (if needed
Direct communications with the Software Vendors and Hardware Manufacturers.
Direct communications with the carriers to insure the protection of the shipments and the delivery time.
Direct communications with the HQ and the other branches for any commercial and/or technical resources (if needed)
Coordination between the company’s engineers and the client for meetings, presentation and/or technical discussion.
Coordination between the carriers and the clients to insure the time and quality of any delivered shipment.
