Manager (SRM) for business continuity of the
Core services in case of disaster.
 Manage and Administer VMware vSphere
system and virtual environment.
 Configure HA (High Availability), FT (Fault
Tolerance, DRS (Distributed Resource Scheduler
and vMotion and manage VDS)
 Administers relevant infrastructure and
introduces configuration changes with minimal
disruption and escalate to the L3 Engineer all
critical issues.
 Assign the operational requests and technical
activities to the L1 Teams, and Provide technical
guidance and training.
 Work with Power Engineers on DCIM tools to
monitor datacenter facilities and rack utilization
to improve data center infrastructure planning
and Modular DC design.
 Participates in evaluating, recommending,
installing and maintaining various hardware
and software components and facilities,
including Local Area Networks, and other
telecommunications equipment & servers in
support of the infrastructure requirements.

 Leads the day-to-day operational support for servers, storage and network infrastructures.
 Planning and implementing changes to infrastructure with the goal of enhancing Performance.
 Manage VMware Virtual infrastructure, Create VMs, Monitor system logs, Manage Datastores and clusters.
 Works with vendors, consultants, contractors, and IT personnel from other departments.
 Administers relevant infrastructure and introduces configuration changes with minimal disruption.
 Assign the operational requests and technical activities to the team members.
 Monitor the operation and performance of the team members and initiates necessary actions to enhance their performance.
 Manage and ensure contracts and SLAs are negotiated in line with needs and ongoing services.
 Advises, contributes and provides recommendations on server, storage and backup Infrastructure systems and policies.
 Manage server room (data center) facilities including UPS, A/C, fire detection, surveillance and physical access systems.
 Keeps abreast of latest technology developments for deploying server and storage systems.

 Manages and implements server, storage and database infrastructure services, in terms of
deploying, monitoring, operating and documenting adequate and reliable service, in line with established Infrastructure Strategy, policies and technical instructions.
 Supervise and manage the ICT systems functions and infrastructure operations at the field:
- Act as a focal point on supporting information systems services and the end users.
- Prepares hardware/software installation plans.
- Plan and assign the operational requests and technical activities to the L1and L2 teams.
- Supervise and monitor the operation and performance of the team members and initiates
necessary actions to enhance performance and to improve the operation efficiency by
introducing new procedures.
- Provides technical guidance, instructions, training, Coaching and motivation to all team members.
- Ensure the team members are delivering the required services and are able to operate in case of emergency.
- Maintains team members activity logs and prepare statistical reports.
 Manages the negotiations of maintenance and SLAs and is responsible for their execution.
 Provides input on projected and new server, storage and backup infrastructure hardware,
software and licenses capacity requirements, sharing the IT specific needs, participates in
implementation design plans, tests and rolling out.

 Create and maintain Information Technology & Management plans in line with stakeholder
needs and in keeping up with the latest Technologies.
 Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of
all IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, software applications, and
peripherals.
 Develop plans for migration of core technologies and tools to the ‘cloud’.
 Organize and implement servicing and support of all IT systems to agreed service level
standards. In particular:
- To ensure training is provided on any new information management tools that may be
introduced.
- To provide remedial support where necessary.
- To work in partnership with other departments on the tools required to manage the digital
communication channels.
 Manage and develop the Information Management team, working with them to plan and
prioritize their workloads, set objectives, conduct training to continually improve their
performance and results.
 Develop and maintain the Major Business Continuity plan for IT and to implement measures
designed to safeguard the IT systems and Management needs in the event of emergency.
 Manage the relationships with external agencies and suppliers, ensuring contracts and
service levels are negotiated in line with needs and financial constraints and ongoing service
 Meet with managers to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs and timelines.
 Researching and recommending new products and technologies.

 Windows server administration and Management.
 Administration of MS Active directory and DS Services, and managing all users, groups
and polices.
 Manage all network services including installation, configuration, and maintenance of
DNS, DHCP, SSH, FTP, AD DS, and LDAP.
 Manage and Monitor server room (data center) facilities, including UPS, A/C, fire
detection and extinguishing, surveillance and physical access systems.
 Build, configure, and troubleshoot windows server update services (WSUS), and design
deployment scenario of upstream and downstream servers, and monthly WSUS clean-up
activity to improve the performance.
 Configure ISA Server 2006 and MS TMG for web caching and firewall including
Application/Packet Filtering, Intrusion Detection and file integrity checker.
 Configure and manage unified threat management (UTM) Systems Including
Application/Packet Filtering, Intrusion Detection, Web Filtering, Access Policies. Implement, Configure and manage Microsoft Office 365 services including E-mail,
Cloud Drives, Online office and other cloud services.
 Install and Configure Corporate Antivirus scanner edition and its administration console
to provide dynamic update and auto scanning to all computers in the local network.
 Design and implement systems recovery and business continuity procedures using MS
clustering, and virtual machines.
 Design, Configure and Manage wireless network including install Wireless Access Points and
Controllers, (Aruba)
 Configure secure connection to internal network using VPN connection.
 Network documentation.
 Maintain an inventory System of network parts for emergency repairs
