I moved to BAE Systems on March 2011 at commercial department as a Commercial Officer. The tasks held were as the following:
• Managing Contracts
• Issuing PRs, RFQ and POs using SAP system.
• Sourcing for suppliers
• Mitigation risks
• Updating the SAP system with latest info and reporting to the line manager
• Managing KPIs
• Meetings review with the suppliers
• Tendering
• Negotiations and agreements
On a short time, I had moved to work in leasing and operations department as a Senior Commercial Officer. The tasks held were same as the previous tasks for Commercial Officer role with additional tasks as the following:
• SAP Coordinator with the following tasks:
1- SAP Vendor creation / amendment
2- SAP User creation / amendment
3- Overdue Reports
4- Forecast report
5- Assisting Quality Department to identify what vendor should by archive
6- Open/Close period process by the end of each month.
7- Various of reports to support and analysis difference aspects required for commercial department.
• Managing Major Subcontractors
• Cost reductions
• PIP KSA procurement representative started from November 2012
I worked as a Procurement Officer with SMSCMC Company which it is a subcontract company with BAE Systems Company. The tasks held were as the following:
• Receiving customer requests and raises RFQs to the concerned party.
• Receiving proposals and evaluate them.
• Raise POs and make sure it will be delivered on time by managing the supplier
• Reporting to the line manager with latest updates including the overall performance and supporting the reports with charts
After showing a good performance I’ve been moved to another role “Expediting” at the same company and my tasks were as the following:
• Expediting is a role where it is rely heavily on correspondence and exchange of information.
• Dealing with sensitive cases requires decisive action to taken with the customer and supplier.
• Hundreds of applications were expedited in different ways and methods.
• Updating the company system “IFS” with the latest update.
• Attending meeting reviews to discuss the latest updates
Qualifications: 1. Secondary school – Natural Sciences – in 1423/1424H 2. CIPS level 2 introductory Certificate in Purchasing & Supply – in 15/01/2009 Training Courses: Apprenticeship for two years, the training placed in Riyadh, SDT (Saudi development & training Co.) and the courses held were as the following: 1. English language course for six months to obtain a certificate of ILTES from the date 11/2007 to 5/2008, plus a variety of computer sessions. 2. Project Management Masterclass – in 22 March 2008 3. IFS Applications 2004 – In 18 June 2008 4. eProcurement Masterclass – In 5 November 2008 5.
