Commenced career as an apprentice (around 2 years) and progressed further while handling senior roles, including oil and gas plant operator, operator 1 and 2, shift supervisor, general supervisor, safety adviser and eventually unit head.

Operation Unit Head - Accountabilities
 Directing the plant’s safety team, reviewing/approving or rejecting safety suggestions, analysing near-miss events and unsafe acts, conducting monthly safety inspections and monitoring implementation of Safety Management System (SMS) in units and entire division.
 Assigned by department manager to prepare, implement and monitor two SMSs and processes, such as confined space work permit process and emergency response plans.
 Leading the Operation Maintenance Engineer (OME) team accountable for planning and execution of T&I, preventive maintenance/contractor activities and maintenance jobs, such as pump turbine overhauls, mechanical seal and bearing replacements.
 Heading a committee for investigating failures/root causes while mentoring unit employees.
 Reviewing monthly NDE variance and preparing operating plans for units, including overseeing annual appraisals and goals.
