• My rule as a QHSSE supervisor in MIAHONA utility company is implementing and monitoring QHSSE policies and procedures across all utility functions, including power generation, water treatment, and infrastructure maintenance. My primary role in the W.W.T.P (wastewater treatment plant) is to identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, and enforce safe work practices to protect employees, contractors, and their assets. Also ensures that quality management systems are followed to maintain service reliability and compliance. Moreover, ensures integration and continuous improvement of health, safety, security, and environmental practices through audits, training, and incident investigations through solid safety management system. Planning of External and Internal training certifications by certifying employees related to their job description such as certification of Welders, Technicians, SCBA users and First Aiders/CPR response team on each site.

In terms of external stakeholder management, I am a point of contact for regulatory bodies, contractors, and third-party service providers; to ensure that external parties comply with the company’s QHSSE policies and legal requirements while working on or near utility infrastructure and providing a service. This includes coordinating audits, facilitating site visits, and managing incident reporting and communication with authorities; by maintaining strong communication with external stakeholders and ensuring transparency. Also representing the company to general and government authorities such as NCEC, NODON, SWCC and Civil Defense.

• Finance / Procurement / ERP system
