I was assigned on one division as the beginning with almost 400 employees and 4 large facilities and successfully proceed to complete my rotation on all the divisions within a significant short of time. As I showed fast adoption to the required skills, I was put charge of all the areas major activities across all the division. This gives me a huge advantage to be exposed on all the different types of work.

1. provide advice, information and instruction on local OHS issues
2. assist in the application of OHS procedures
3. help manage risks and hazards in the area
4. report and investigate incidents, injuries and hazards and implement agreed control measures
5. liaise with the head of the unit or controlled entity, OHS Unit and other safety personnel
6. review and analyses injury and incident reports and data
7. develop injury and incident prevention strategies for their area
8. monitor local area compliance with OHS policy and procedures
9. audit local area OHS compliance with regard to risk, emergency and hazardous waste management
10. Help promote OHS awareness.
11. develop, implement and monitor Health and Safety Policy, Programs, and Procedures
12. increase health and safety awareness at all levels within the organization
13. respond to employees’ safety concerns;
14. respond to fires and other emergencies to be available for advice
15. coordinate registration and removal of hazardous waste
16. assist executive staff, senior administrators, principals and supervisors in emergency preparedness
17. To liaise with the fire department regarding emergency procedures, communications and fire safety education programs

As a field operator, my role was to check the process flow and intervene whenever it's necessary to make sure of the quality and reliability. Also, part of my role is to support the safety and make sure everyone is complying to the safety construction manual and the safe operation procedures.

A. Performs or assists in the start-up or shut-down of assigned plant and facilities according to approved operating procedure and general instructions.
B. Monitors operating conditions and makes in-process adjustments either at the control board or within the plant to ensure safe and efficient process operation.
C. Maintains log books and operating log sheets recording temperatures, pressures, flow rates, samples taken, volumes received and shipped, etc.
D. Responds to emergency or upset conditions taking necessary shutdown or process adjustment action to restore stable operating conditions.
E. Makes regular inspections of plant facilities to ensure all plant is functioning correctly. Corrects malfunctions if capable or refers situation to supervisor.
F. Cooperates with maintenance personnel by locating and demonstrating malfunctioning plant and equipment. Inspects maintenance work as assigned.
G. Takes samples and performs process chemical and physical tests as is required.
H. Ensures that safe operating practices are adhered to at all times.
