I was promoted for the technical and projects manager in commercial kitchen sector, following projects from bidding to handing over.

In commercial kitchen i was responsible for all material submittal approvals, shop drawing execution and approval, ordering equipment and quotation approval, delivering material approval for materials from the consultant MIR and site follow up from construction to the handing over of the project

Significant Highlights:
• Displayed excellence in ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per the standard specifications.
• Suggested and implemented better method of material utilization as per site conditions.
• Worked on the intercontinental Hotel Parcel 5.06 and Indigo Hotel parcel 4.05.

Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluating plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations and handling design documents supplied by the client or architect.
• Monitoring selection and requisition of materials, equipment, machinery, and plants and working closely with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, surveyors and general workforce involved in the project.
• Participating in meetings and informing mangers regarding progress done in site and its conditions and submitting reports.
• Managing day-to-day quality assurance activities of the site and monitoring the site labour force and administering work of subcontractors.
• Providing appropriate resolution of unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise. Verifying plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
• Working as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives. Engaging in activities entailing setting out, levelling and surveying the site.
• Entrusting with the accountability to agree a price for materials and making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project.
• Shouldering accountability to re check if all materials to be supplied fit in place and re coordinate the MEP connections.

Projects Undertaken:
• Installation for Exhaust Hoods as per approved drawings.
• Installation of Cold‐rooms and Freezers as per approved drawings.
• Installation of ANSUL Fire Fighting for the hoods (wet chemical, nozzles, piping, and manual pull station).

Significant Highlights:
• Successfully redesigned the kitchen drawings and placed equipment in the exact position.
• Efficiently monitored the successful completing of MEP shop drawing on time.

Key Responsibilities:
• Participated in progress design meetings to strategies design developments and shouldered accountability to coordinate with clients for design progress and evolution.
• Entrusted with the responsibility to evaluate and review tender responses and address queries raised by Contractor. Prepared tender documents such as drawings, specification and BOQ.
• Prepared material submittals for approval. Shouldered accountability to develop material submittal for kitchen equipment.
