Key Highlights:
• As Deputy Project Director, overseeing Integrated Security System (ISS) project for expansion of the Holy Mosque and surrounding areas under the stewardship of King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
• Handling day-to-day operational matters on site whilst minimizing company exposure and risk to avoid cost and time overruns.
• Collaborating with the Project Director in controlling site expenses; identifying and capitalizing on business development and "up-scale" sales opportunities to contribute towards the top line of the company.
• Directing operations of the TCR (Temporary Control Room) till MOI shifts its operations from ECR to TCR.
Leadership:
• Organizing team and client meetings with MOI, SBG, DAR and other partners inside Makkah; assuring that minutes of meetings are prepared and distributed with the relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Liaising with the Project Director and Construction Manager in determining resource requirement and allocating individual responsibilities based on competence and experience.
• Sharing and discussing critical project updates with superiors; resolving issues on site in a timely fashion.
Communications:
• Coordinating communication between management, construction team and clients; assuring that the project team is aware of critical changes with respect to project scope and deadlines.
• Delivering engaging, informative and well-organized presentations to the management; highlighting key achievements till date and sharing future plans with the intent of completing the project within the stated deadline.
• Maintaining cordial relations with the client; assuring that their concerns are addressed with minimal follow ups and reminders.
Team Management:
• Leveraging leading by example strategy to encourage the team to work with utmost dedication.
• Arranging short meetings to celebrate small victories; acknowledging and appreciating key on-site contributions.
• Resolving conflicts and communication problems between team members on a war footing basis; assuring that no delays are made in completion of tasks due to personal issues between team members.
Training & Development:
• Assuring that all trainings held inside Makkah for the MOI fully align with management expectations.

• Developed Operations and Maintenance manuals and established policies and procedures for smooth implementation of the Mobily Network Project.
• Established the Operations and Maintenance Department from scratch; followed a merit based approach to hire 170 personnel and assigned them on 19 RMCs (Remote Maintenance Centers) throughout Saudi Arabia whilst assuring that they received adequate training to fulfill their responsibilities.
• Supervised outside plants, Network Control Operations and Remote Maintenance Centers; made required authorizations, prepared shift schedules, issued dispatching orders and oversaw database management and SNFN reporting compliance to drive growth and profitability of the company.
