Key Responsibilities:
• Supervising and performing various accounting calculations and auditing tasks to ensure the financial records are properly maintained.
• Assisting in preparation of financial statements while taking care of analysis, consolidation and reconciliation to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Recording expenses, liabilities, revenues and assets as per the accounting policies set by the Finance Manager of the company.
• Overseeing and fulfilling responsibilities related to day to day maintenance of books of accounts.
• Offering assistance to the external auditors in carrying out the annual audits while ensuring all their queries are satisfactorily answered by providing them with relevant evidences.
• Preparing month end closing and adjusting entries to ensure the books of accounts are properly closed.
• Keeping close liaison with all external stakeholders including debtors, creditors and banks to properly reconcile various general ledger accounts and statements.
• Carrying out other tasks as desired by the role including but not limited to correspondence, and presenting financial information in summarized format to senior management.
