Role Purpose:
•Plan, Design forecast, work schedule, and supervise projects including cable laying, cable splicing, substation erection, consumer connections and distribution projects within his assigned area.Networks with maximum rated capacity up to 33 KV.
•Incumbent is the highest authority level in the Planning &Construction functions
•Prepare and present the annual operating budget for the Distribution Dept. to ensure adequate funding provisions. Monitor expenditure against approved levels ensure effective performance and cost control.
•Evaluate the company contractor’s performance.
•Responsible for Planning, Engineering and Design of all system improvement projects of medium tension networks underground, Overhead lines with maximum rated capacity up to 13.8 KV & 33 KV.
•Responsible for projects execution of all customers new supply of Low, medium tension networks including Underground, Overhead lines, Substations and Meters and system improvement projects with maximum rated capacity up to 13.8 KV and knowing all equipment tests needed .
•Coordinate with the corporate planning group the preparation of the Capital budget for the Distribution Department and submit all capital projects for approval. Monitor expenditure against approved levels and investigate and recommend corrective action opposite significant variances to ensure effective performance and cost control
