Procurement Responsibilities
Working as Procurement Manager for EPCIC for Qatar Gas Waste Water Project (QGWP) for Qatar Gas since October 2022
Working as Procurement Manager for EPIC for Common Cooling Seawater System (CCWS) Phase-III Project, for Qatar Petroleum since October 2019
Worked as Procurement Engineer for EPIC for Debottlenecking of QP Gas grid at RLIC, Qatar Petroleum.
Handling various Material Packages from Enquiry stages to handover stage including Warranty such as Chiller Package, Blowdown treatment package, Tanks, Pumps, Electrochlorination Package, Switchgear packages, DCS package, UPS package, FRP Pipes & Fittings, Main Cooling water Pump packages, Drum Screens, Filters, Motor Operated Valves, Motor Operated Valves, Pipes, Fittings, Valves, Piping materials, Cables, Structural materials, HVAC Package, Flowmeters, Transmitters, Telecom works, Barred Tees, Flanges, Fasteners etc.
Handling various Subcontracts from Enquiry stages to handover stage as NDT, Lamination, Formworks, Fabrication, Painting, OEM Services etc.

Arranging the logistics & insurance cover as per the agreed INCOTERMS with Vendor

Declaration of released Subcontracts and Purchase Orders in Dhareeba (Qatar Tax portal) based on the Order/Subcontract value and their amendments.

* Recently given the additional responsibility to provide pre-bid support for EPC projects (Saih Rawal Combine Cycle Power plant (PDO) project) which includes various packages such as STG, HRSG, Air Compressor, Pipes & Fittings(Piping), Air Cooled Condensers, EOT cranes, HVAC, etc.
Key Achievements & Recognitions
2015
New Supplier development - Earlier we use to purchase European make pumps. I had developed a new supplier, who manufactures in India. Orders for pumps were placed both for SNCP and Ghaba North project requirements. Pumps are received and are running successfully from last 6 months. This resulted in a saving of OMR 9, 735
Project item savings - Achieved a saving of OMR 127, 257 against budget.
Consumable savings - Achieved a savings of OMR 24, 885 by re-negotiating with regular suppliers and purchasing from alternate/new suppliers.
2014
New Sub-contractor development: For PDO project fire proofing & Insulation services, there are only 3 approved Subcontractors. I had introduced a new sub-contractor, Motivated them to visit SNCP site repeatedly. Convinced SNCP Project team to consider them and take PDO approval.
This resulted in a saving of OMR 59, 461 for SNCP project.
Based on SNCP PDO approval, ZGP also awarded fire proofing & insulation orders to them (order value approx. OMR 400, 000) which resulted in savings for Al-Hassan.
Project item savings - Achieved a saving of OMR 78, 146 against budget.
Consumable savings - Achieved a savings of OMR 17, 036 by re-negotiating with regular suppliers and purchasing from alternate/new suppliers.

Consumable savings - Achieved a savings of OMR 20, 667 by re-negotiating with regular suppliers and purchasing from alternate/new suppliers.
Project item savings - Achieved a saving of OMR 78, 146 against budget.

oAssessment of the performance of the vendors based on various criteria such as percentage of rejection, quality improvements rate, timely delivery, etc.
