ABB is bringing together low voltage systems and medium voltage systems under one business unit (EPDS) for seamless customer experience. The three factories in Riyadh produce state-of-the-art products such as low voltage switchgear, medium voltage switchgear, compact substation, mobile & prefabricated electric house at the highest ABB global standards of quality.
The role of the vice- president is to lead the unit with full profit and loss responsibility, assure highest level of HSE and integrity, drive growth strategy in alignment with ABB global strategy, develop and optimise resources, manage factories operations.

Leading the MV switchgear business in Saudi Arabia. Responsible for strategy development & implementation, market strategic positioning, alignment of the organization shape and resources with long-term and short-term objectives and full business profit and loss responsibility. Managing the full cycle of business execution through multiple reporting functions: Sales tendering, projects management, engineering, MV switchgear factory, production planning, execution and after sales.

Develop marketing strategy aligned with the global vision of business execution and evaluate the current strategic position through:
1. Market intelligence generation and analysis to establish demand orders estimation in sector detailed.
2. Competition analysis to highlight competitors strength and weakness and develop reaction plans.
3. Financial analysis to identify business performance and possible actions for better performance.
4. Business development including growth plans, opportunity analysis, strategic partnerships, alliances and networking to optimize both direct and indirect channels to the market.
5. Member of the rail team who aim to maximize the company value offering for clients in this sector through facilitating engagement of ABB expertise around the globe in addition to the local team.
6. Critically evaluate internal processes to enhance business execution, enhance quality, improve efficiency and increase organization agility and lean manufacturing.
