- Responsible for ensuring that organization obtains
quality products for competitive prices in a timely
fashion, while maintaining stakeholders satisfaction.
Develop and administrate all procurement related
activities for the company.
- Ensures that all departments have a very clear
strategy when purchasing goods and services. Set’s
policies for purchasing that take into account
budgets, stock requirements and skills required.
- Managing IT asset lifecycle from specification, procurement, maintenance & documenting.
- Manage support & maintenance contracts with 3rd party vendors to ensure all IT asset support contract are aligned and updated.
- Ensure data centre physical environment is equipped with well-maintained utilities.
- Work closely with Network & System team for the specification of new desktops, servers & other hardwares.
- Interface with other functions of IT service, such as Service level management, Change management, Availability management and Capacity management to ensure adherence to IT service management best practice.
- Ensure that procurement of IT assets is done on time which includes negotiation of prices, request of proposal, follow ups & payment processing.
Mange coordination between IT services and business units for all IT element requirements regarding user station movements and new branch office opening.
Electronics Purchasing
- Involved in end to end, SAP MM SD module implementation.
- Analyzing consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends.
- Ensure selecting the most appropriate goods and services on thesis of price, quality, delivery times and services support.
- Regularly reviewing performance indicators, such as sales and discount levels, managing plans for stock levels.
- Reacting to changes in demand and logistics.
- Meeting suppliers and negotiating terms of contract & maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products.
- Liaising with other departments within the organisation to ensure projects are completed.
- Writing reports and forecasting sales levels.
- Presenting new ranges to senior retail managers.
- Liaising with shop personnel to ensure supply meets demand.
- Training and mentoring new staff.
