Responsibilities - Senior Business Developer:
• Tasked with developing partnerships between academics and industry, providing business expertise and commercial support for dealing with KAUSTs Research Park and Innovation Cluster in liaison with the Commercial Manager.
• Created long-term value for the university by identifying technology transfer and innovation opportunities within KAUST and collaborating with the Business/Financial Analyst and the expertise of KAUSTs research scientists to analyze business opportunities analysis on targeted markets for specific technological developments in engineering sciences aligned with KAUST.
• Provided leadership, vision, strategic planning, development, and oversight by finding business and technology development trends and challenges in specific markets and innovation areas that align with KAUST KSA priorities in knowledge-based engineering developments.
• Determined the needs of KAUSTs Research Park and Innovation Cluster and gave strategic advice based on the market.
