More than six years of working experience in technical function system architecture and support - at the operation department in Integrated Telecom Company (ITC) (www.itc.sa ), where I have occupied the following positions:

1- Network Operation Center Engineer (Feb 2008-May 2009)
2- Internet Operations and Maintenance Engineer (June 2009-June 2012)
3- Data Network Operations Senior Engineer (July 2012)
4- Data Network Operations Specialist (Jan 2015 - Present)


I have been engaged in:
1- Big Networks’ Designs (Cisco, Huawei, Bluecoat, Infoblox, Sandvine, CA, and much other platforms).
2- Major Network Topology Changes.
3- Provisioning Some Big Circuits of most well-known Saudi ISPs and Customers.
4- Working with the National, Regional, and the International Upstream Service Providers, to deliver reliable and stable networks.
5- Working on advanced network bandwidth saving systems and solutions.
6- Troubleshooting (routers, switches, caching servers(L3), wirefilters(L2), and making fast workaround changes and enhancements to avoid the network outages at the time of incidents.
Coordination with most of ITC departments to run/ deliver many services for most of Saudi ISPs and customers.
7- Strong technical experience in operation and maintenance.
Strong experience in telecom industry with solid knowledge of Internet Gateways setup (IGW) and IP/MPLS Backbone and its integration with Access Network and Data Networks.
8- Hands on experience in various layers of OSI Model.




Duties and Responsibilities:

1- Participate in development and implementation of the Design Department plans (Engineering), in line with the corporate objectives.
2-Direct and manage the Core Network (IP/MPLS) Routers and providing leadership and facilitating work processes in order to achieve high performance as per the company policies' standards.
3- developing and nurturing strong customer contacts and positive, proactive relationships with customers (IBW customers, corporates and residental).
4- providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by utilizing excellent, strong knowledge of Company services.
5- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures and quality standards in the Core transport Network (IP/MPLS) Section.
6- Produce design for IP/MPLS, IGW, and IBW customers' networks.
7- Manage interconnection with International Carriers and national / regional providers.
8- Provide complex Tier 1 analysis, and fault handling within strict time limits, involving coordination with the other parties (NOC, Provisioning, Transmission).
9- Ensure escalation to Tier 2 for highly complex issues to TTAC for speedy resolution.
10 - support presales to develop the best solution design as per customer requirements.
11 - deliver customer services as planned and designed by pre-sales team and as requested by the customer.
12- review all new and updated TSDs and MSDs from provisioning perspective.
13- develop and produce periodic operations reports and provide recommendations for enhancements.

Internet Services Engineer-Monitoring Internet Services and Implementing New Service Requests. at integrated telecom company ( itc )

I learned a lot at ITC Khobar Cable Landing Station Data Center.
I was the only IP/ Network Engineer their,

1- test/activate the internationals (upstream services providers) IP transit circuits, and the national and regional peering circuits, by coordinating with transmission team.
2- study and evaluate the impact caused by the international or national providers down-time scheduled activities and send the evaluation back to NOC team, also modify the based policy routing if needed prior the activities’ timings if needed.
3- work on the new service provisioning requests of IBW customers; to meet the customer requirements.
4- open the network troubles tickets with the vendor and make sure the network issue is completely solved prior the closure.
5- troubleshoot BGP problems with all service providers and IBW customers.
6- installing, and migrating new technical components in the Cable Landing Station (CLS), Routers, Switches, and Servers.
7- installing, maintaining communication networks (Google DNSs, BlueCoat severs, Routers 7613, 7609 SIP and SPAs, Supervisor Engines and so on.
8- work and troubleshoot the hardware and software issues of Cisco 7300, 7609, 7613 routers, ME3400, 3750 switches. SG8000, SG8100, Cacheflow5000 Bluecoat proxies Wirefilter filtering devices, SCEs, DNSs, Infoblox.
9- work on tickets to solve customers’ problems, national latency, international latency, link congestion, DDoS attack, email problems, asymmetric routing, and any routing issues.
10- meet CITC requirements and rules to update the proxies with the control list as well as the internet boarder routers filtration.
11- work with NOC change Management for the network requests for change.
12- Engineering team support (Installation, Integration and Configuration).
13-IP/MPLS team support (Installation, Integration and Configuration)
14- performs installation and problem resolution for communications equipment supported by the company.
15- Knowledge of Cisco routing, IP addressing, VLANS, GigE, VPN, MPLS and other network topologies with a technical understanding of Cisco LAN/WAN networking protocols, switching architecture and core distribution methodology.

• Fault Management and Monitoring, handle and resolve faults that may occur in the network elements ( Wimax stations, Switches, Routers), through using Network Operation Center platforms.
• Provide basic Tier 0 event monitoring, filtering, correlation, analysis, localization, fault ticket initiation and referral within strict time limits.
