Direct the overall day to day accounting practices of the organization.
Oversee treasury, accounting, budget, and audit activities of the organization and subsidiaries.
Oversee financial and accounting system controls and standards and ensure timely financial and statistical reports for management.
Arrange and oversee completion of all work including posting, processing, and verification of receipts, credit claims, refunds, interest charges, or other similar records.
Manage the accounts receivable and payable functions within the organization's established policies.
Supervise recording of amounts due, verification of invoices, and calculation of discounts.
Ensure expense coding, voucher preparation, and check issuance are accomplished accurately and timely.
Design and implement cost control procedures and manage the preparation of cost accounting records.
Plan and direct financial data.
Provide assessment of existing and proposed financial plans and policies.
Propose changes to ensure organization achieves financial targets.
Establish policies and procedures for the payroll function.
Oversee the calculation of wages, overtime, and deductions.Establish and maintain systems for budget formulation, budget execution, funds control, accounting and financial reporting.
Execute responsibilities for controlling financial functions and resources.
Prepare and submit to the Management monthly reports and financial statements to accomplish the goals of the Management financial agenda.
Perform activities to ensure good cash management practices are accomplished.
Maintain financial control records of inventories.
Oversee the performance of junior accountants and assist in the development and adequate training of the organization accountants.
