Since September 2010 associated with Almarai company capital projects division and positioned as Project Engineer (civil)
Overseeing construction works on going for Almarai Central Processing Plant - 3, Alkharj Accountable for over all construction work progress.
Reviewing Drawing and Method Statements, Work Specific Quality Control Plans, etc.
Developing project scope documents, Capex writing and project estimation, technical evaluation of tender bids etc. Involved in risk assessments; conducting project review meetings with contractors and end users for evaluating project progress and liaising with internal groups
Execution of work as per approved drawings and specification.
Interaction with Clients & Consultants.
Preparation of daily progress and production reports.
Allocation of jobs to the subordinates as per the requirements.
Excellent knowledge of all Finishing Work, like P.O.P False ceiling, Gypsum, Plaster etc.
Conducting of Quality Control inspections.
Extraction of work from the man power available
Achieving highest standards of work man ship by utilizing the available resources.
Estimate the quantities of materials required prior to start of the job.
Maintaining daily progress report and submitting to the higher concerned staff.
To watch and inspect the construction and assure that it is done in full accordance with the plans and specifications.
Review and approve Shop Drawings of equipment to be installed to assure the equipment meets or exceeds the specifications (often done with the Project Engineer).
Keep fellow team members and project managers informed of workload and deadlines.
Inspect or visit sites to ensure quality of work.
Produce quality reports when relevant such as site inspection reports.
Learn and develop engineering skills.
Keep track of the financial performance of allocated work.
Archive project work, incoming information and outgoing information.
Attend and participate in meetings and training as requested.
Record work hours using the Time Sheet.
Assist with additional duties as requested.
