Currently employed in TkXel, some of the routine tasks are:

Training new joiners for Android development.

Making frequent internal and external builds for review.
Projects:
Following is a brief summary of projects that I successful developed and delivered:
1. FD-Cash (Family Dollar Cash):
Role: Architect, Developer
Team Size: 2
FD-Cash is survey-based project of Bigger shopping mall chain. Each district has several managers and each manager performs survey on several stores under his supervision. District Managers perform survey about the working of store, that survey is stored locally in the database, and submitted to the server soon as the mobile finds active internet connection.
2. SIMS (Safety Incident Management):
Role: Architect, Developer, Code Refiner
Team Size: 1
SIMS is a tablet-based project, which is about the record keeping of natural hazards (Oil ship explosions, Earthquake disasters etc.). User fills online/offline forms to prepare several reports related to the incident. This form data is submitted to the central server for record keeping. SIMS also involved automatic data synching, employees’ management.
3. TradiePoint:
Role: Team Lead. Developer, Architect
Team Size: 2
“TradiePoint” which is the mobile version of TradiePoint website. The project is about assigning the tasks to different tradies (plumber, electrician) by the admin traide. Non-admin tradies performs different operations on those assigned works such as marking a task as completed, cancelling the assigned work, rescheduling the task etc. TradiePoint includes fetching data from the server (JSON), parsing the fetched data and displaying it on different screens It also includes Push Notification feature. This project was developed and managed by me as a whole which includes client communication, documentation
4. iScopes:
Role: Team Member, Developer
Team Size: 3
“iScopes” is a mobile application which includes an interactive horoscope sign wheel rotation component; it also includes fetching data from the server (JSON, PList, and XML) along with several service calls, parsing the fetched data and displaying it on different screens. Application includes many other features like live video streaming (HTTP, RTSPprotocols), custom promos, in-app purchases etc.
5. Mosque Locator:
Role: Developer
Team size: 1
Developed a small GPS based project, which searches the Mosques in 1km radius of user’s current location. IT calculates the distance between the user and the mosques. Mosque Locator uses Google Maps and Google Places API to search for nearby mosques. Mosque location is drawn on the map along with mosque’s name and other information. This project is flexible to be changed to search for any other location such as restaurants, hotels, coffee shops or anything.

Role: Lead
Designed a GPS based tracking application for Android mobiles that tracks the location of your friends. Key features include:
Tracking friend’s location on Google map.
Calculating distance between you and your friend.
Application draws a straight line called “flight displacement” between you and your friend current location.
Application also draws route (directions) i.e. the route that you should follow on your vehicle in order to reach your friend.
Draws the driving direction on the Google maps in order to reach your friends.
The cutting edge feature of this software is that it’s cost effective, Internet is needed at one mobile only, the one that wants to track; the target mobile only needs GPS enabled. I also participated in all Pakistan Project Competition 2011 with this project.
Assistant Software Engineer (Agile Technologies PUCIT):
I worked 1year in Agile Technologies. Agile is an in-house software house established to help the merit based selected students to work on research based innovative ideas. Some of the routine tasks included:
Frequent meetings with research officer to discuss the research based ideas.
Working 4 hours in Agile Lab every day after the daily course lectures.
Achievement:
Certificate of participation in ”ICT COMPPEC 2011“all Pakistan projection competition at National University of Science and Technology (NUST) with this project.
Certificate of participation in “Android Application Development Seminar” conducted by “Vopium” software house on 23rd of October, 2011.
Certification of participated in "ICT COMPPEC 2011"all Pakistan projection competition at National University of Science and Technology (NUST) with my final year project "Geo Tracker" on 24 June, 2011.
