Roles and Responsibility :
• Provides global Network support to our client LEAR corporation's 400+ sites in North America, Europe and the Asia Pacific including a wide range of network administration duties like installations, maintenance, Backups and upgrades of network devices.
• Operates, maintains and Monitors the wired and wireless network infrastructure using Network Monitoring tools like Solarwinds and Cisco Prime infrastructure.
• Maintenance of technical documentation of processes and procedures and prepares Knowledge base and SOPs regarding company’s architecture.
• Problem and Incident management using SERVICE NOW and IVANTI ticketing tool to independently resolve tickets and ensure that agreed SLAs are met.
• Direct contact with technical and management interfaces within the company to ensure proper Escalation to higher-level management.
• Monitors, Troubleshoot, Backup and Manages the Configuration of the Cisco Switches L2 & L3 (2950, 2960G, 2960-X, 3560-CG-PoE, catalyst 37xx, 38xx, 9000 series) like SNMP, TACACS+, VTP, STP, VLAN, DHCP, IP helper, 802.1Q trunking, Access/Trunk ports, ARP, CDP, EtherChannel, Switchport security, MAC binding.
• Performs IOS upgradation of Cisco Catalyst Switches( 29xx, 35xx, 36xx, 37xx, 38xx, 9000 series) and Cisco Routers (ISR 4000 Series) as per organization standard and Cisco recommendation.
• Monitors, troubleshoots and configures Cisco Wireless LAN controllers(5508 and 5520), Wireless Access points( AIRONET) and Wireless Broadband Routers ( Cisco, D-link, TP-link)
• Monitors WAN traffic, Utilization, Uptime, Packet loss, and Troubleshoot WAN MPLS Circuit on routers and Escalate to 3rd party if requires while taking continuous follow-up to ensure minimum downtime of services.
• Monitors and Troubleshoot WAN Links on Viptela SDWAN CEDGE/VEDGE devices using CLI and vManage Dashboard and WAN Links on MERAKI SDWAN MX84/85 devices using Meraki Dashboards and Escalate to ISP if requires.
• Managing IP Addresses( Allocate IP to a new node, delete, update records) and Subnetting for the whole network using SolarWinds.
• Responsible for performing a wide range of network administration duties including installations, maintenance and upgrades of network devices within an organization.
• Operates, maintains and Monitors the wired and wireless network infrastructure using Network Monitoring tools like MRTG, NAGIOS etc.
• Maintenance of technical documentation of processes and procedures.
Development of knowledge and skills in network and system administration regarding company’s own architecture.
• Identifying and dealing with Malfunctions, providing an immediate solution or referring to a technical entity.
• Direct contact with technical and management interfaces within the company.
Manage the Switches Configuration and Troubleshooting.
• Configuration of the Cisco Switches L2 (2950, 2960G, 2960-X, 3560-CG-PoE) and applying security on ports of switches.
• Designing LAN’s internet/intranet.
• Configure Cisco Wireless and D- link Wireless Router.
• Basic knowledge of Cisco Wireless controllers(WLC) and Wireless Access Points(WAP).
• Installing and maintaining LAN and Internet protocols and services.
• Managing IP Addresses for the whole network by using Subnetting.
• LAN traffic monitoring
