We have connected with 40 locations in different cities in the Kingdom and four international branches located in Qatar and Abu Dhabi and two our sister companies (Power Center and Bahra Cables Co.) via Wimax/Leased Line and DSL.
We have Nortel Networks 8310 layer 3 Core switch with multiple VLans.
We have Nortel IP telephony solution support in Nortel Networking using separate Voice VLAN and Priority with necessary services to run efficiently in Windows environment.
We have the Data Center with state of the art technology and facilities including HP rack mounted DL 580 G5, DL 380 G7, G6, G5 & G4 Servers and HP storage works MSA 60, Nortel 8310 Switches and patch panels, Red line AN-500 terminals, Cisco 2800, 1800 and 800 series Routers and high quality construction equipment and facilities like fire fighting, water detection, and cooling system for Jeddah head office.
My Responsibilities are as follows in Electric House but not limited to :
Managing and Administring Microsoft Windows 2012 Active Directory (multiple sites) and Exchange Server 2013 infrastructure securely and efficiently in WAN environment.
Managing and Administrating Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 and XenApp 6.0 connected with all the remote locations through HP Thin Clients.
Automated clients and servers windows updating process with latest security patches by deploying Software Update Service (WSUS).
Managing CA ARCserve r15 Backup Server as a main application for Data and application backup, Server online imaging using VSS, Automated System Recovery and Restore Application. Use along with HP storage works MSA 60, HP storage works LTO5 and LTO3 Tape Drives.
Maintaining and administering Microsoft Active Directory 2012R2
Managing and Administering Microsoft Exchange server 2013
Implemented MS Forefront TMG & ISA Server 2006 with Astaro Security Gateway Ver.7 as Fire wall and Web Sense for Content Filtering making policies to protect network from external security threats and configured secure communication between branches and head office.
Implemented Trend Micro Office Scan Ver.10 Antivirus Application to be deployed Centrally
Installed and configured DNS, Integrated DNS with Active directory in windows 2012R2.
Installation and configuration DHCP and making sure that the clients where using the dynamic update protocol.
Installed implement and configured Active directory in a Forest Enviroment have been responsible to make sure that Active Directory was replicated to all domain controllers in the forest, and also to make sure that Active Directory replication was not consuming the wan bandwidth.
Create new accounts in Active Directory and Exchange 2007.
Manage network printers and Install and troubleshoot network connections
Provide internet access to employees and visitor or guest
