Workedg as a QA/QC engineer, in UAE (Dubai), at Six Construct (BESIX). The ongoing project DUBAI TRAM .

Client: RTA (ROAD & TRANSPORT AUTHORITY)

Project: DUBAI TRAM project is 14.5 km track line for the access of TRAM. All cable systems are underground there are no overhead cables. So under track lines, there are duct banks for power supply cable & signaling cable, underground drainage system, 13 STATIONS & DEPOT.


Project: It is an Offshore Civil and Marine Works, for the construction of gas plant. The project location is situated 150 km from the coastal of Abudhabi. The plant was constructed inside the sea by placing quay walls on either side of 300m wide & 1, 200m length and raised up to 12m of Datum level. The inner portions are backfilled with reclamation material through dredger. The projects contains the soil improvements, 1200 pilings, small & large foundations, substations, outstations, cable trenches, drainage systems, duct banks, interlock road, pipelines, pipe protection foundations, etc, .
Job Responsibilities:
• Ensures that the Project Quality requirements are understood at all levels.
• Ensures that inspection activities are coordinated and carried out to specified requirements.
• Develop inspection procedures and implement throughout the construction stages
• Necessary assistance for getting approvals from the consultant for day to day project works
• To arrange / ensure timely inspection and approval of all materials / equipment delivered / completed installations at site by Consultants and maintain records
• To ensure timely action on any comments / complaints by the Consultant/ Client and closing of NCRs, if any
• To ensure that all testing and measuring instruments are calibrated as per standard requirements
• Ensure implementation of quality standards and control
• Maintaining the records, of RITA, NCR, IAR, CONRETES ARRIVAL, TEST RESULTS
• Implementing Quality Management System.
• Implementing Quality policy and objectives .

Worked as a Site Engineer in Archirodon Overseas Construction Company in the Elixier II Mirfa1 project - Seawater Intake and Outfall project Abu Dhabi in the pipeline project. The Elixier is a joint venture of Abu Dhabi National Oil Corporation and LINDE (German Company) The consortium building the Air Separation Unit (ASU plant) for the Nitrogen production. In which we are doing a part of pipeline work

Project Title: Sea water Intake & Outfall for ASU plant

Job Responsible:
• Getting the work permits from the client.
• Starting the work at the specified time without any delay.
• Discussing with the Project Engineer about the progress.
• Producing the progress reports to Project Engineer regularly.
• Checking the sea bed level by Bathymetric survey.
• Checking the levels of the bedding at the dredged area where the Piers or blocks of Quay wall is going to be placed.
• Submitting the reports for the inclination and levels of Piers and Quay wall blocks.
• Producing the as built drawing for the placed Piers and blocks of Quay wall in an AutoCAD.
• Finding out the variations from the design drawing and the as built if the variation is more than a tolerance it will be changed.
• Each and every progress completed we should inform it to Quality Control department. After the QC’s satisfaction they will bring the client QC inspector. They will check and approve our progress. If they did not approve we recommence our progress in which they did not approve.
