Duties and Responsibilities
Recording of financial transactions according to accounting policies and procedures.
Handling the accounts receivables of the firm.
Handle the cash and cheques receiving and arrange for bank deposit
Coordinating with the sales team on the invoices created and tracking of the invoices and its due dates.
Ensuring that the invoiced items are dispatched and delivered on time.
Constant follow up with the debtors reminding them of the unpaid invoices.
Ensuring that all the unpaid invoices are received as per the agreed terms and the received amounts are correctly credited to the firms account.
Keeping the receivables accounts updated to have a clear track of the amount that is going to be credited to the firm’s account at the end of a particular period.
Involved in posting to ledgers, control of petty cash, monitoring budgets, stock control, sales invoicing, cost and expenditure controls, reporting to trial balance, general ledger, supplier and bank reconciliations and other finance related tasks.
Verify payment vouchers, receipts vouchers and journal vouchers.
Checking the accuracy and authorization of documents
Checks and approves the day to day transactions of bank and cash.
Preparing weekly and monthly sales report and same reporting to Accounts manager.
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately.
Duties and Responsibilities
Creation & Maintenance of Vendor & Customer accounts in the system.
Creation & Maintenance of General Ledger in the system.
Process payments and documents such as invoices, quotations, LPOs and petty cash reports.
Review and verification of invoices.
Entering of purchase invoices into system.
Sorting of match invoices and set the invoices for payment.
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
Help other departments to resolve the accounting issues and their queries.
Assist in month end, quarter and yearly based closing.
Communicating and disclosing the information to the managers when ever needed.
Handling Aging report.
