Key Job Responsibilities:
Planning the activities for Mechanical, Metal, Electrical & instrumentation using SAP.
Be the site level SME (Subject matter expert) on CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software, train the local Engineering team in its use and escalate issues as required to the team.
Conduct job/field walk‐downs with area authority, performing authorities and craft(s) to establish an accurate task/material list.
Ensure site level equipment, spare parts and minimum holding levels are correctly recorded in the system in order to ensure Technicians are never without the parts they need.
Act as site single point contact for all Planning related issues. Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Inspection and Maintenance in review of maintenance issues.
Compile equipment information, performance metrics and machine histories and make recommendations for improvements based on their findings.
Prepare & assemble the Work Packages, which shall include: work scope, plan, schedule, resources, scaffolding plan, BOM, blinds list, drawings, P&ID’s, JSA, cost estimate, etc.
Schedule & update the planned activities in Primavera P6 whenever required for management update. Preparation of Weekly, Monthly look ahead Schedule.
Prepare, plan, aligning teams and resources & implementation of same for 7‐week look ahead plan (7WLAP).
Process work order (WO) by priority in a manner consistent with the Asset Management Work process (AMWP).
Develop scope of works for the rotating equipment’s to be overhauled at the Maintenance shop and preparing the required documents for it. Prepare Major job schedule, inject in Primavera P6, create activities, linking, identify critical paths, prepare baseline and release the schedule on daily/weekly basis as required.
Work closely with, but not limited to, the Material Coordinator and Engineering to ensure material and engineering requirements meet and assist for material creation/extensions.
Initiate, track, expedite and coordinate material acquisition, issuance, delivery, and staging, and recycle associated with routine maintenance work orders and routine maintenance schedule.
Work closely with Maintenance Team Lead, discipline engineer (equipment advocate) to ensure Job Plans are complete and accurate. Administer the PM program, develop job plans & develop PMs.
Conduct backlog management, review outstanding and in process work orders to screen out unjustified work, maintain the manageable quantity of forward work.
Facilitate daily WO validation and Backlog Review meetings.
Create material / services Purchase requests (PR) and follow up until placement of PO (purchase orders).
Initiate & lead the meetings as & when required.
Participate in equipment criticality and RCM reviews.
Prepare and review the Risk Assessments (RA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA) & Management of Change (MOC).
Monitor Planning metrics/Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
Familiar with all static and rotating equipments related to Boilers, Waste Water, Sea water Units, Polymer‐Compounding areas, Methanol & MTBE areas, Formaldehyde areas.

Follow EHS & Security rules, policies and expectations.
Follow TA and Asset Maintenance Work Processes and Procedures Planning for Maintenance scope for Static & Rotating equipment’s. Carrying out full responsibility for coordination with respect to assigned area in all phases of TA including Worklist initiation, evaluation, scope challenge, approval, estimation, Detailed planning, preparation of work packages, activities in Pre‐TA, TA & Post TA phases and close outs. Prepare, Review and verify the job packages, job safety analysis, lift plans, crane, insulation and refractory, scaffolding requirements with the team for work list and work scope.
Close coordination with all relevant sections & stake holders like Reliability, Maintenance, Projects, Operation, Process, EHS, Security, Logistics, Materials & contracts, contractors to meet the TA planning milestones.
Responsible to complete TA Planning’s deliverable in different phases timely with cost effectiveness.
Create work orders and PR’s, Feeds SAP/CMMS with the required resources, equipment, materials, consumables, services, and order for long delivery items.
Work with TA Scheduler to get the Primavera schedules prepared according to planning requirements in terms of Work density, Task sequencing, Time durations & resource deployments.
Identify, prepare and order the Spares parts and materials. Verification & tagging of received & available material in warehouse.
Prepare bidding scopes & involve in technical discussion & coordination with potential contractors during pre‐qualification & technical evaluation phase.
Coordinate with Contracts, Procurement & Logistic for Engaging and mobilization all relevant TA’s resources.
Timely updating in the system for any changes in scope of work/change order and calculation of the Impacts of this change on cost and overall assigned Budget allocation.
Verification of contractor’s invoices, additional work, acceleration & escalation claims.
Keeping organized Track of TA historical Data for future reference & analysis.
Carried out Turnaround activities in equipment’s: Pumps, Extruders, Screw conveyors, Centrifuges, Blowers, Rotovanes, Thermal Oxidizers, Sulphur Recovery Units, Flare tips, Burn pits, High‐pressure steam Boilers, Plate coolers and Shell & Tube heat exchangers, Vessels, Tanks etc.,
Handled subjects related to Mechanical Engineering like Machine Design, Elements of Mechanical Engineering, Finite Element analysis, Design Labs, Machine shop Labs, CAD/CAM labs.
Have supervised semester projects of Bachelor & Master program students.
