Spearheading the Enterprise Program Management Office for all Commercial projects. Provide in-depth reporting to CxO’s on a periodic basis providing key decision points & project status. Established governance structure for approvals and status at all project stages, manage workloads, define deliverables, mentor resources, conduct performance reviews and ensure compliance with E-PMO processes. Manage Program’s to incubate and develop digital transformation projects.

• Manage and evolve Program Management Office; define and implement project management processes, including those related to requirements management, change control, and user acceptance testing
• Provide governance structure for customers & stake holders for project status, reviews, approvals, investment decision
• Create and manage formal reports/performance analysis of the projects to the CxO’s and directors with dash boards for the top management to take key decisions on the projects at runtime
• Introduced Agile methodology for the CR Iteration cycle, reduced the cycle from 40 days to weekly cycle
• Focus Project areas included BSS, VAS, digital services, adjacent businesses and incubation center
• Provide support to digital incubation programs focused on digital products development from prioritization, budgeting, approvals, resources engagement, etc.

Translating segments/commercial requirements into technology products for consumer products. Responsible for managing all segments for their product configuration and development across CBS, BSS Core & VAS nodes. Managed the A-Team (Agile Team) and improved the delivery from 700 to 2, 800 products delivered YoY. Designed and implemented tailored agile functionality by bringing all stakeholders on a weekly deliverable cycle with meeting held each day. This was a new concept introduced in the organization and now is being used as a benchmark across the company.

Managed the Agile Team for the configuration management for the Commercial Segments & other Stakeholders for end to end product configuration, testing, delivery and support.

Managed suite of products including Wholesale voice, Sim Box Detection & GSM Roaming Signaling. I was responsible for end to end product operation, development, forecasting and budget of the respective products. Brought in unique feature sets in the services customized to the needs of the customers

I took over the project for the SMS filtering platform for TGS being deployed to run as a service for MO& MT for mobile operators. I was the design lead during the project where I lead the deployment of the platform with design of the MO & MT functionalities of the SMS interworking as a service

TGS intended to become a Global MFS clearing house for the group and started the project to deploy a Telenor BU’s wide gateway for the Telenor Operations globally to support the ambition of becoming the group’s centralized MFS clearing house. I lead the team and experience from Pakistan with Easy Paisa on board. Along with the team I created the requirement specification documents for the different parts of the project and executed the RFP and RFQ for the vendor selection and shortlisted them

I joined the LDI business unit when VoIP was taking up shape in Pakistan, with past extensive experience of working in the wholesale business from the past and hands on experience with VoIP technology; I successfully brought the voice over IP technology in the unit. I successfully connected over 40 operators on VoIP and significantly reduced the OpEx and buying cost for the operations. Additionally I created a routing plan for the Peak days of the year (Eids’) where the congestion was significantly reduced and the traffic was multiplied by 3 times due to my implementation

While based in Houston, TX USA, I provided consultancy as a IT/Telco to multiple organization for their design and implementation for their Wan & W-WAN networks requirements across the globe, with a focus on VoIP and Security infrastructure

I joined Catcom in Islamabad to setup and deploy their International Gateway and Calling card solution as contracted by NTC. During this time I received multiple trainings on Cisco, ACT, Lucent Excel, Siemens and Quintum platform while acquiring the solutions from different vendors to be deployed at NTC. Furthermore after the successful deployment, I moved to Houston, TX to establish the Catcom Office in USA and setup a switching facility for which I successfully acquired FCC-214 License for establishing the International Switching gateway in USA
