• Regularly conduct an inventory of data available from dierent sources across Jordan, focusing
on humanitarian issues, including the number and locations of refuges, IDPs, host communities,
total number of aected population, access to basic services, specifc sectoral needs, and other
issues that would guide Child Protection humanitarian response led by UNICEF:
Inventory of relevant common Sector data sets, including population data dis aggregated by age
and sex.
Weekly verication of data compiled by partners in Activity Info in order to ensure its consistency
Identify secondary data and information resources prior to deployment for rapid onset emergency
response as appropriate
Collect, store and manage relevant reference and situational datasets including GIS data
• Ensure that timely information on CP programs progress and results is available by compiling,
organizing, analysing and preparing data for reports, program planning, monitoring and
evaluation as needed. Prepare tables, graphs and other statistical data accordingly.
• Coordination with the Sector Coordinators, respond to the information/data needs of the
sector:
Provide IM services to Sectors for key decision making.
Participate in sector coordination meetings and Working Groups
Support the monthly (4Ws) analysis exercise of Sector.
Develop simple and eective methods to share information in an appropriate way.
• Provide support to improved information management systems in the Oce by ensuring
adequate frequency update, access and standardization of information:
Maintain the tools in place to provide appropriate IM support for Coordination, Needs Assessment
Systems and Monitoring Systems.
Support in the analysis of processed data and information, and perform data quality and
consistency control.
• Produce maps, graphics and other supporting documentation for reporting and analysis:
Display of data on maps or
• Liaise with other information managers to build information management relationships for gathering reliable
data and using data collection tools at the eld level.
• Assist in the development of an Information Management project based on accepted international standards.
• Responsibility of administration of relevant datasets and/or databases including content, structure, file location,
backup system.
• Facilitate organisations to agree upon standards in describing and releasing their data.
• Contribute to situational analysis, improving quality of service delivery and identifying service gaps.
• Creating infographics, maps, dashboards, reports and all related IM products as requested by the partners or the
Senior IMO.
• Providing advice to the Senior IMO on all information management and geospatial functionality, and
requirements.
• Reporting to the Senior Information Management Officer and ultimately the Turkey Country Director and ensure
the program is based upon sound principles of design and utilize iMMAP and donor required monitoring and
evaluation systems.
• Where appropriate, represent the project team with partners, and participate in local community activities.
• Follow the branding regulations required for marking, or branding, of all the products and correspondence.
• Support the design and development of information management solutions and end products
• Research, identify, or support the development of new information management tools to address information
management needs
• Support the capacity building team with training preparation, logistics and training
session.
• Support the change management and cluster support team with data analysis, documentation, information
management re-engineering.
• Develop GIS map and product for the regional office.
• Support on development, implementation and training for information management products.
• Evaluate information harvested through surveys and workshops, task analysis, and business process description
• Assist the Program Manager in monitoring the performance of projects.
• Assist in analysing the state of information management in given contexts and provide recommendations on
how to improve such

• Gather, analyze, and integrate spatial data from costumers and determine how
best the information can be displayed using Esri Products and Adobe Suits.
• Compile geographic data from a variety of sources including censuses, field
observation, satellite imagery, aerial photographs, and existing maps.
• Analyze data for geographic statistics to incorporate into documents and
reports.
• Design and update database, applying additional knowledge of spatial feature
representations.
• Analyze geographic relationships among varying types of data.
