Checking the company’s account balances at banks on a daily basis and preparing bank reconciliation on monthly basis
•Reconciling Clients / Suppliers statements.
•Creating, Printing and filing Journal transactions and statements of accounts at the end of each day
•Sending wire instructions to banks
•Sending cash to banks on daily basis
•Checking outstanding amounts on a daily basis including checks issued and outgoing transfers
•Preparing bordereau for checks to be sent for collection
•Issuing receipts for clients against any payment
•Follow up clients due balances with Sales department & inform collection department.
•Checking purchase invoices and acquiring management approval before payment
•Issuing internal payment vouchers for each payment approved by management
•Checking the expenses list for the month received from admin department on a monthly basis
•Coordinating with HR department for preparing monthly payroll around at the end of each month and sending it to the CFO
•Maintaining fixed assets schedule and calculating the depreciation
•Preparing the salaries schedules for NSSF contributions and taxes on salaries
•Issuing taxes on salaries declaration
•Issuing VAT declaration
•Preparing financial statements on a monthly basis
•Maintaining customer confidence and protecting operations by keeping financial information confidential
•Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies
•Controlling receivable & payable accounts and effecting cash payments according to approved documents
•Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed
•Abiding by bank secrecy regulations
•Integrating all accounting entries into the accounting software
•Pulling accounting reports from accounting software as needed by the CFO and management
