Set strategy for the department
• Developing initiatives (developed new costing sheets and a new price list during 2015)
• Prepare department plan (including training- revised the procedure of the department- optimized offer preparation to be sent in least time possible eliminating need for additional resources in 2015)
• Align strategy with that of the company
Generate offers:
• DFI management and coordination with sales department (discuss strategy for each offer and diffuse to the team - plan offers workflow - contact customers and discuss solutions - Setting priorities - monitor the solution phases - arrange site visits for the team to develop solutions)
Handle supplier and partners:
• Search for new suppliers and subcontractors - Evaluate new suppliers and conducting the cooperation agreement - negotiate commercial terms - Discuss technical solutions
Manage the costing system
• Ensure good costing and profitability (Study costing and pricing with electrical and installation departments - Ensure optimum solution at lowest cost - Maximize margins depending on customer's willingness to pay- Review price list based on bench marking - update prices of components- Review actual projects costs and compare them with selling prices, and update prices accordingly
Kick off file to Operations
• Prepare and present the kickoff file after PO with complete data, info, and layouts - Preparing PR's for suppliers - Monitoring additional expenses when advised by project manager - instructing the prices and issuing of RCOs
Grow and manage the know-how
• Continuous research for new solutions- Technical support to the sales team- standardize the offers - Improve productivity, quality and cost savings of the department- Maintain an organized library- Designing and improving the filing system
Manage the department:
• Evaluate and monitor the team performance- Conduct performance appraisal- Coaching, training and setting corrective action plans- rewrote job descriptions for Presales team

- Submitting purchase order based on engineering calculation and customer requirements by searching for the best quality/price material.
- Making assembly and execution drawings so that they'd be submitted to the factory.
- Managing and performing project testing based on test reports prepared in order to approve quality, operation and performance of assemblies, project to project shipment.
TECHNICAL ENGINEER
CARRIER / NATIONAL CONTRACTING COMPANY
- Installation, setup, QA, and maintenance of Carrier chillers.
- Programming and troubleshooting of Building Management Systems.
