During my university i started to develop interest in photography.
in 2013 i started my own freelance business called Abeer.K Photography.
I am quite experienced in covering social and privet events, editing pictures, dealing with customers
At Limark, I was working as a product photographer, graphic designer, and social media handing. My tasks included
- Product photography
- Editing and retouching of pictures
- Posting on social media
- Keeping a follow up on social media posts
- Creating hashtags and captions
- Replying to comments
- Designing posts
- Editing videos for different social media platforms
After handling my freelance business and influencer pages on social media, I did some self-
learning about the algorithm and the way to gain engagement and followers on social media. At
blink my responsivities were;
- Tracking engagement
- Managing different social media platforms for the company
- Creating captions and hashtags
- Coordinating with different departments to meet deadlines
To polish my previous experience and learn more I started working with the magazine department of the American University of Kuwait called the Voice. I first started as a team member in the department, responsible for gathering data and making designs and layouts for the magazine. After a year of working as a team member, I was promoted to the head graphic designer where I had greater responsibilities and tasks like;
- Designing and finishing magazine layouts
- Designing logos, stickers, banners, and flyers for the events at the university
- Proof reading of data before publishing
- Meating deadlines
- Managing the department of graphic designers
uring my time with the voice, I developed an interest in photography. To more an
understanding of the profession, I started working as a photographer at Hiba Studio where I was responsible for multiple tasks
- Product, events and fashion photography
- Editing and retouching of pictures
- Attending customers
- Make booking and reservations for photoshoots
- Planning themes for the photoshoot
During the end of my high school I was fortunate enough to have a chance to gain experience by working as a Graphic designer in the media department of Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development on a contract basis for four months.
My responsibilities were to
- Update the website
- Design Layouts
- Design flyers for the website
- Edit Pictures and videos
- Proof reading any information that needs to go on the website
