My duties
Ensuring the correct use of equipment and resources is maintained. ❑ Participating in appropriate meetings with parents. ❑ Preparing appropriate lessons and suitable teaching materials. ❑ Maintaining records of student admissions and records. ❑ Helping to manage pupil behavior and discipline. ❑ Actively involved in curriculum review and developments. ❑ Teaching within the designated subject areas. ❑ Providing guidance and advice to pupils on educational and social matter. ❑ Developing a close relationship between the school and the local community. ❑ Register the attendance of pupils. ❑ Making effective use of data to monitor and evaluate pupil’s progress.
Classroom management.
Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to a range of classes and age groups.
Preparing and setting tests, examination papers, and exercises.
Marking and providing appropriate feedback on oral and written work.
Devising, writing and producing new materials, including audio and visual resources.
Organizing and getting involved in social and cultural activities such as sports competitions, school parties, dinners and excursions.
