1. Conforming structural adequacy of design and of material selection to ensure and verify the right materials will be ordered and that the design conforms to the Client’s building requirements and specifications.
2. Performing structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience.
3. Designing the Aluminum, Glass, Steel structures and its supporting bracketry/fixation to the main structure in a way such that it can meet all the requirements of the client within the needed time span.
4. Getting structural approvals from consultant.
5. Coordinating with the Designers and Drafters assigned to the project/s to ensure all engineering work/analysis required are carried out.
6. Making recommendations for strength compensation to existing design when site clashes occur.
7. Attending technical meeting with the Contractor and Design consultants whenever façade design technical queries arises.
8. Performing anchor design (cast in and post drilled (mechanical/chemical)) through various anchor fixing software such as HILTI, Fischer, Halfen and Jordahl.
9. Providing detailed Façade imposed loading to the main RC Structure for Structural Consultant’s verification.
1. Performing Structural Analysis using STAAD Pro and Design Calculations using BS Codes and Specifications in preparation for Tender and Construction drawings for actual project.
2. Preparing Basic and Comprehensive Structural Design Calculation report for Consultant’s approval.
3. Ensuring all engineering requirements of the Curtain Wall are achieved and that tests and calculations conducted are documented and properly recorded.
4. Providing drawings and sketches to incorporate in drawings by Designers/Drafters.
5. Obtaining approval for all calculation submittals from the local Building Authority within the specified time.
6. Attending technical meeting with the Contractor and Design consultants whenever façade design technical queries arises.
7. Performing anchor design (cast in or mechanical) through various anchor fixing software such as HILTI, Fischer, Halfen and Jordahl.
8. Providing detailed Façade imposed loading to the main RC Structure for Structural Consultant’s verification.
1. Coordinating the requisition, issuances and the timely delivery of required materials on-site.
2. Coordinating Civil/Structural works with MEPF works to anticipate and resolve problems encountered in the field operation to eliminate costly rework or retesting.
3. Ensuring work is performed per plans and specifications via coordination with the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) groups.
4. Monitoring Project Status and progress to ensure scheduling milestones are understood and are being met.
5. Providing technical solutions and recommendations for design conflicts in the construction plans with an acceptable construction methodology.
1. Ensuring the smooth progress flow of all projects and responsible for all correspondences with clients.
2. Preparing and updating work schedules, materials and cost estimates.
3. Preparing weekly and monthly accomplishment reports.
4. Monitoring and updating project status.
