Mechanical Division \[Sr. Design Engineer\]
Design and optimization of mechanical components for Progressing Cavity Pumping system parts like Stator, rotor, tag bars, stuffing box, Drive heads, power units etc as per the requirement of engineering team
Design and develop tooling for ease of manufacturing.
Develops manufacturing drawings in accordance with applicable standards, GD&T, welding symbols etc.
Create Top-down assembly, generating BOM for assemblies.
Data management (PDM & PLM system) by using Windchill. Creating product structure & ECN and associating require assemblies/drawing with respective parts.
Complete the Custom Order Requests assigned to engineering team for PCP and PDM product lines. Review drawings/documents for engineering compliance.
Coordinate with Sales as well as manufacturing people for specific production orders.
Provide technical support for Stator as well as Rotor Manufacturing, especially related to stator/Rotor measurement and testing equipment through all phases of Product development and Product standardization.
Help to maintain existing Stator and Rotor databases as well as development of new features.
Development of special equipment, procedures, forms, etc. for the implementation of ISO 15136-1 for downhole PCP product.
Design Department, Transformer Division
Prepare customer drawing like Transformer Outline Arrangement, Transport outline, Foundation drawing, Valve location drawing according to marketing contract review documents and customer site details and other requirements.
Perform technical calculation for transformer Tanks plate thickness and different pressures acting on tank and prepare tank fabrication layout like tank plate sizes, electrical and mechanical clearances prepare tank fabrication as well as frame fabrication drawings.
Prepare internal layout with the help of electrical engineers and decide Lead disposition and Lead Takeout drawing. Prepare connection drawings according, supporting arrangements.
Provide technical support to Tank as well as Frame fabricators.
Engineered Tooling Solution (ETS), E&A Division
Design of Press Tools, Jig & Fixtures as well as Injection mould for Thermoplastics.
Product refinement, RFQ, Manufacturing Review, Feasibility Studies.
Perform analysis using tools like FMEA, Root Causes Analysis, Toll stacks up
Product rectification and modification through Six Sigma tools in coordination with Engineering, Product Designers and Tool Engineers. Use of Co-ordinate measurement machine (CMM), profile projector to capture dimensions for self-inspection.
Review outsourced vendor drawings for their compliance with project requirements in detailing and standard engineering practices and carryout customer reviews for this work.
Conduct product trials within the scope of manufacturing group.
Work as Value Engineering coordinator for Tooling division and conduct Green Hat session to generate ideas for cost saving
