My job role and responsibility includes:

• To understand and analyze the market trends and behavior of military and defence industry worldwide
• To prepare company snapshot and cover various parameters which includes in-depth secondary research (quantitative and qualitative)
• Company Snapshot covers: • Graphical presentation of sales, operating profit/margin, research and development, cash and liabilities for three to four years
• Growth Drivers - identify the factors which influences the business segments performance
• Strategic Growth - any joint ventures, mergers and acquisition, steps taken to expand it geographical presence and product development initiatives
• Key Metrics - cover all major events which has its impact on companies operation and how well it has performed against its competitors
• Competitor Financials - sales, operating profit, cash, liability to understand the financial position of the competitors
• News - cover recent and competitor news which has impact on business
• Capital IQ Financials - to cover various financial parameters of the company to arrive at making financial decision
• Competitive assessment of top defense companies. The deep-dive analysis requires both secondary and primary research to know in and out of the company. It helps our leadership in decision making against its competitors strategies
• Read and understand various analyst reports published by UBS, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Bank of America, etc. which helps us to understand the company in a broader way and picks the best point while preparing snapshots
• Worked on Milicas and Helicas database - it provides better understanding of military aircraft market outlook
• Have done few ad hoc projects on mergers and acquisitions. For e.g. GKN-Volvo deal and ongoing EADS-BAE merger
• Made some useful presentation on military & defense industry in addition to my regular work and shared it with the team and client
• Worked with aircraft production forecast team and have learnt the art of doing forecasting

• To analyze Construction/Infrastructure Industry and prepare reports which includes PEST analysis, Porter's Five Forces analysis, key drivers, trends and major issues
• Preparing company report which requires in depth secondary research to gather relevant data and information
• SWOT analysis and financial analysis is the top priority of the report

Under Projects Profile Team:
• Monitor various construction projects across globe which mainly includes infrastructure, industrial and real estate construction
• Managed a database of more than 500 companies with approx 30, 000 construction projects
• Interaction with UK and Australia sales team on client related query on a regular basis and to deliver result on time is the most interesting and challenging part of the job
• Our target sectors mainly covers: real estate construction, infrastructure construction, industrial construction, oil and gas, energy and aerospace & defence
