During my Master’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at The University of Huddersfield, I developed a robust understanding of global logistics, procurement strategies, and supply chain optimization. My coursework included modules on supply chain analytics, strategic sourcing, inventory management, and transportation logistics. These subjects provided me with both theoretical knowledge and practical tools to address real-world logistics challenges. One of the highlights of my academic journey was my dissertation, where I analyzed the impact of digital transformation on supply chain efficiency. Through extensive research and data analysis, I proposed strategies to integrate emerging technologies like AI and blockchain into supply chain operations, ensuring resilience and sustainability. Additionally, I participated in group projects that simulated real-life scenarios, such as designing end-to-end supply chain solutions and optimizing logistics operations for multinational companies. These projects enhanced my skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making. The program also emphasized the importance of sustainability in logistics. I worked on a case study examining green logistics practices and developed a framework to reduce carbon footprints in transportation systems. Through various workshops and seminars, I gained hands-on experience with supply chain software such as SAP and warehouse management tools, strengthening my technical capabilities. Furthermore, interacting with diverse classmates and professors from different parts of the world improved my ability to communicate effectively in multicultural environments. Overall, this degree equipped me with the knowledge, technical skills, and global perspective needed to excel in the logistics and supply chain industry.
