Application Description: The application performs two different actions of importing data to the client's database and exporting data from a client's database to xls or flat file according to the client's request. The files are transferred through FTP servers.
For import the client uploads the import file containing user information to their FTP site and the scheduled application consumes the file and process the data. The export tool pulls training information for the users, writes the data to the file and uploads it to the client's FTP.
Web service is used for exporting training data from their database. The client calls the service internally in their application and pulls the data.
Roles and Responsibilities:
➢ Review the SOW sent from the client and provide feedback to the project coordinator/Delivery Manager.
➢ Develop the application and perform unit testing before deployment on the server.
➢ Debug the application in case of any issue or failure.
➢ Maintenance of the monitoring tool that monitors the daily process of scheduled application.
